Did you get any responses to your question?
I'm facing the same problem with my Nokia 311. When phone is turned on with sim card in place, it turns off, but phone stays on if there's no sim card inside. Someone said that phone should be flashed, but I don't think this applies to this phone because it's a GSM phone. I suspect it could be a battery problem.

if pc suit software ask you to login nokia account just update it to nokia suit 3.8.54. the problem will solve.
