Still have this phone and it works for the following only which is what I need from a communication device:
- music player (I have thousands of mp3 files)
- phone calls
- contacts keeper
- calendar
- reminders
- sms (latest emoji not supported)
- low quality photo shooting and video (uses 3gp format)
- backup storage (yes, it supports my sandisk 128GB SDXC class 10 card)
Pros:
- size (fits the smallest pocket)
- battery life (swappable)
- bluetooth 3.0 works at SBC rate and useful (I hardly use it as I use wired 32ohms IEM)
- music sounds good even with mp3 files at ~170kbps (vbr)
- 2G signal (communication everywhere)
- vibration for silent mode
- always on display
Cons:
- browser no longer works or no longer supported
- wifi connects but not useful (I don’t need it)
Overall, I like to have a free conversation with people in person and don’t use Social Media that much and when I’m biking, hiking, traveling or in a cafe relaxing, this phone gives me better freedom and clarity to think. I am 41 years old and in the field of Cybersecurity for over a decade and a mobile phone doesn’t have to be smarter than me.

i tried web browser using emulator and it's not working
Maybe the problem is the emulator.

Try to read the review, i don't know about hotspot but Bluetooth may work
Can you use internet wifi on this device?
Asking because operating system is unsupported and may not work properly in 2023-2024

Store doesn't open. Browser doesn't work. No update showing. How have you managed to get yours working in 2022? All I can do is calls and text

Aadrian, 02 Aug 2020WhatsApp discontinued support for the ASHA series already several years ago. Phone is now become a garbage .
It is better to bay a new mobile.
