my c1-01 phone gives a lot battery backup though i use it for 6hrs of browsing every day.
and the speed of the internet is pretty good. gives average of 26kbps downloading speed when connected to pc. i think that's better than some other 2g phones.
and you can delete your messages at once by going to delete messages option. check your phone completely before commenting.
it has a option for streaming settings. but not able to stream any videos.

pathetic!!!!the phone lost all my contacts and the reception is too bad.the battery doesnt last for 6hrs.let nokia terminate the contract with india or else............

Absolutely useless phone. I'm useing this phone for last 2 months and found following drawbacks
1. Can't save SMSs as drafts.
2. No templates option for sms msg.
3. Can't delete multiple sms 4m inbox/sentitems folder by marking them, insted u have to delete them one by one.
4. If u have saved multiple nos against 1 single name.In call log screen dosen't shows the phone icon like mobile/home/office/fax u need to go frther 1 step to know the no.
5. All Nokia phones charger cable length is irritatingly short. How much nokia saving by this any guess ????
6. Modem is really slow when connected with pc/laptop.

Zaos, 24 Apr 2011i am using this phone for a while, i have came across a problem; the phone freezes then auto r... moreYes the problem you are facing is one of the common problems in this particular model.
One of my friend had brought this phone a few weeks ago and was facing the same problem of the phone getting hung up every now and then, we took the phone to our nearest NOKIA CARE store where they updated the phone's OS (That's what they said they did) but turned out positive the phone now works fine does not hang and also noticed it has speed-ed up than before. Just a problem remains it does not support themes from almost any sites.
So you could either run an update on your phone from your PC or take it to your nearest NOKIA CARE and get it done for free if your phone is in the warranty period.
