Nokia is a interational company and should not do such silly things as it has launched dual sim handset without functioning of both the numbers toghether.
Of what use is a dual SIM that can't work simultaneously? Nokia Dual SIM needs a rework.
Dual sim in n o k i a mean full utilization
of money. & beware of all chinese mobiles
it is dual sim, but both are not working together.
for that it is useless for me...
I love it! It's very simple, affordable, fully featured basic but also very subtle. When is there anyone in the market?
Sanjay, 22 Aug 2010Model has been announced, price declared, but where are the phones? I called up Nokia Priority... moreThat all being said, please remember the following: C1-01 is __not__ a dual SIM phone. Dual Sim phones are: C1-00 and C2-00.
Model has been announced, price declared, but where are the phones? I called up Nokia Priority dealers. All said, they don't know when Nokia will release C1-01. If there is really a C1-01 model, then why the delay in releasing it in Hyderabad.
Within a short-time Micromax has emerged as the most affordable dual-sim mobile and multiple features.
Dual-sim phones are a craze with the youth and professionals alike. The concept of One Sim for personal calls, and another for professional use is well established. If Nokia delays the release of C1-01, it is sure Micromax's with its new models will leave no market space for C1-01.
The business logic is simple, youth on average may afford to buy one phone in an year. Every new Micromax model creates a situation where, there is one year waiting time after every purchasing decision. One customer is lost for one year, like that scores and thousands of customers. (Proper MIS will tell us how many people visit Nokia dealers enquiring of C1-01 / dual-sim phones)
If we look at the precedents of product manufacturers, product announcements are made only after inventory readiness is assured. This time (only time) Nokia seems to fall back on its production and distribution that must go parallel with marketing.
Hope, Nokia India's business managers revise their basic business lessons, and address the gaps between production, distribution and marketing.
Venu Reddy, 03 Aug 2010You didn't keep the cost of the mobile c1-01
