I wanted a phone with an mp3 player and gprs if possible, which I found in this phone. It's also got Ovi application, and is expandable to 32GB. The phone is very handy too. What more do you want from a mobile phone for a little more than 2000 bucks?
SExyback, 14 Apr 2011Which is the better C1-00 or C1-02 ?C1-01 has a 0.3 mpxel camera, C1-02 does not. Everything else is the same...
This is exactly the kind of phone I was looking for. My workplace doesn't allow phones with camera. I wanted to have a phone with 3.5mm jack, some gprs features, atleast java support, handy and use and light on my pocket. Nokia C1-02 was the answer. I'm very happy with this phone. I was surprised when my Internet was barred and I tried using this phone as a modem to connect to the internet, it worked perfectly, a phone of just Rs. 2100. Other features include able to sync contacts, calendar and notes with Outlook, configuration of email account, chat, conversation view. The buttons have spaces in between and make texting a pleasure. Overall I'm very happy with this phone. Good job Nokia...
I bought this phone in Feb and have been using it since then. I got in Black the only colour available in India so far and costed me around Rs. 2200. Initially the phone was looking great, the music and sound quality is good and even the bluetooth connectivity. However going through contacts was a little ICKY. Takes a lot of time to shift from menu's. And though can be extended up to 32GB I just use a 512mb card and havent enjoyed using it. over all I wud give it a 4&1/2 on perfromance, 8 on looks and 7 on music out put. My vedict don't go for it......
It is wonderful phone, it plays videos 3gp, mp3's, s40 gui is beautiful, can use ovi suite to edit contacts and upgrade the os , the battery back is also fair.
Only drawback is it does not have the reject list/blacklist option at all, which the basic phone models will have.
Yes the Sound LEAKS from the Back speaker- No Privacy! This sound leakage is alos present in Nokia 1280 & 1616. I must say Nokia's quality is degraded to the worst. That's Why every one is switching to other brands. I was also a Nokia Fan, sine many years, But Now NOKIA lost it's reputation. No wonder why apple is growing & nokia's profits are shinking!
