This is a Fantastic, Sturdy Nokia Handset,
Got on on 31st January for 2139 from the Mobile Store at Mumbai with 4GB Memnory Card,
Let me share my experience in last 3 days
1. Awesome Sound Clarity(On Sony Earphones)
2. WH 102 Headset Supplied (Which is very decent)
3. Good Music Phone
4. When you hold this handset you feel the nokia quality just excellent ,
5. Good Battery: The Music was ON nearly 20 Hours with a Few Long phone calls (Total time 2 Hrs) So the Battery Charging Life is good too
6. Definitely Value for money
Would Like to share the initial experience
I like to test my product when it is new as it is under warranty, So I started installing Applications(games, etc) Installed nearly 40 Java Games
The Games were installed in the folder Applications>>Extras>>Collection
This Folder also had preinstalled applications in it(World Clock, Converter, My Nokia, etc)
When i did a mark all and copy to Memory Card, the preinstalled games just disappeared couldnt find it in the phone/memory card
I did a factory restore so that i can get those apps back, but that was in vain, still couldnt find the original preinstalled applications
Now when i tried installing new games i am not able to do so,
But All the other features were working appropriately
I have taken this handset to the nokia care center and they will fix this issue by Flashing this piece that free of cost, since it is under warranty,
I am sure it will be fixed(will update once i get the piece back from them)
Nokia Care Center Offers 1 yr Extended Warranty i was interested and bought the same it was just 140Rs
My Advice to all of you folks
This is a a very good handset with all the good features (specially Music), definitely an excellent buy for a person who works in a company where camera phones are not allowed
Only thing is , if you have any issues with the phone please do not do a restore factory settings, take it to your nearest Nokia Care Center, They will fix it for free :)

So there would be no harm in buying the set immediately?

lala, 26 Jan 2011gud music, ok with headset, but awesome vt speakers. will it hold fully loaded 32gb card?Remember, No Phone will hold a fully loaded memory card. It needs some space to run without hanging. If you are using an 8 GB card, leave atleast 10% of the space free so your phone will not hand whilr using.

Nokia is planing to release the firmware update version 04.30 for both Nokia C1-01 and C1-02 and will be released this February. So wait guys for the official launch of the updated versions.

got this phone and i can say that it's solid. if u want a non-cam phone that has a memory card slot and 3.5 mm jack also bluetooth, then this is the phone right here.
to those who have this phone, how can i customise the internet settings like the access point? thanks

Finally I got it. Available in Mobile store. Don't know if there is any color other than black. But overall I loved it.

[deleted post]Yes, this phone has voice leakage problem. Just cover the back speaker hole with one of your fingers and you can reduce the voice leakage up to an extend or just reduce the speaker volume. I reduced the speaker volume and tried several calls inside and outside the room and we cannot hear to the other side at crowded place and we have to increase the volume of conversation and the friend standing near to me can clearly hear all the conversation

It's good basic phone & got the best deal for Rs. 2050/- at CR Park in New Delhi ... at - IN TOUCH Store...
Very simple to use & a nice phone ... after a long time from NOKIA
