This phone has every reason for being a hit phone in the market; wifi, good battery backup, big 2.4' screen, qwerty keyboard, home screen full of widgets, social networking, threaded sms view, all at very affordable price 90 euro before tax (~100 €) means should be release in India @ about 6,200 Rupees...

its like a lower version of e5, without 3G and 2MP cam. but if it can handle just what you need for everyday business then that should be enough.

R u still contemplatin it? Its pretty much a done deal 4 me. Hu needs multi taskin wen the java apps load within secs/music can be played in background while playin games or browsin d web! Nokia is soo HOTT!

I actually cnt help myself to read its specs after ur p0st in gw300's forum. C3 is definately a great alternative f0n with alm0st the same specs in gw300, but one thing that i was in d0ubt.. I think it hasnt a multitask ability... But you're right, being n0kia means its safer to have it than other brands. But i like gw300's design m0re than this. Hmmm stil c0nfuse if il get gw300 or c3? :( qwerty qwerty... I want qwerty...but which qwerty?

Can someone pls confirm if this phone can do multitasking?. This phone is S40 and no Nokia with S40 have been able to do multitasking. I saw on Nokia website that you can download Nokia own Yahoo, Hotmail Gmail and Ovi messengers just like BlackBerry. So I will think these applications will be close to useless if they can not be minimized. Nokia lovers, lets discuss this important issue for this seemingly great budget phone.

Clever indeed, but also (my opinion) a good looking phone, complete, it's a Nokia and (i hope) cheap... :-D, hope it will get here (the netherlands) soon, i really wanna get one... black looks nice :-D

Well its great move from nokia to hit youngster group specially heavy mobile internet users.
Looks like nokia is completing with low cost phones in market....like samsung corby & LG cookie,pep etc.
facilities like facebook,chatting, Opera brower..make C3 a bundle for social networking.
What kind of OS it runs on any idea? I'm sure its not a symbian.

People on a budget don't use 3G, and most don't tell difference between 256K and 16M. Besides, most cameras on phones are a joke, so just 2MP is fine. I'd rather this than 5MP and no wifi..
