Mobilemaster, 13 Feb 2010Hi Bill!
Can you tell me something about the very high-end S series smartphones? I know tho... moreHi, as far as i am aware the S Series sits above the N Series range, which is already a high end multimedia sector. The S series will probably most likely be the successor to the very high end Symbian Series 90 Devices, but will be completely be rebranded. As the N Series are touchscreen enabled much like the rest excluding the low end C series.
The S series will be based on the MeeGo, a combination of the Moblin OS by linux and Maemo 5 by Nokia. A partnership of Intel and Nokia, these devices will have as standard much higher resolution than 852x400, we're talking 1024 x 480 or higher, will have 12mp camera lens with autofocusxenon flash as standard but this is expected to be up to 15mp in two years. The screen size will be 4.3-4.8 inches so it's almost a tablet device. Nokia are rumored to be trying out dual screen touchscreens with the S Series, not too different from the concepts they presented a few years ago, in a folded clamshell communicator like style, so this has the potential to have great multitasking and increase the size of the display. Each handset will include snapdragon processors in the range of 1.3-1.5 ghz, but this is only in the next few years. Expect to see an s series device by Q4 this year, and nokia are expected to announce a new N Series flagship with a 3.7 inch touchscreen and capacititve touchscreen with a 12mp camera w/xenon flash and 720p HD video recording.

Can you tell me something about the very high-end S series smartphones? I know those phones will be limited ones.
I take back whatever negative comments I had towards Nokia earlier, the c series are the budget end of the range for the Finnish Company. And to be honest, the C5 actually looks quite a good looking well featured lower range phone, if this is what we can expect from Nokia, they're gonna be pretty much unstoppable, Apple/Android can keep on dreaming.
The really low end series 40 budget models will be shipped to India and SE Asia, we'll still see plenty of them in US/Canada/Europe as Nokia want to make less smartphones. The E, N, S series and Maemo will fulfill the needs of the tech hungry rich consume whilst the C, X Series are aimed at the average joe/general public consumer and young people.
This games is for s60v5/symbian^1 & the nokia c5 is s60v3 i still trying to decide if i must take nokia c5 when released or nokia 5230
Three nice and free 3D games:
nice design should go to "CLASSIC" model with battery power of 1500mAh just like the one in E52. I have E52 but don't need other stuff. I stop using E52 and bought/ now using Nokia 2600 Classic. Just give me Nokia C5 design and put in E52 battery power. All you people in Nokia please open your ears to your consumer like me.
It looks smashing! Iam in love with this phone already. Great specs. Only if it has long lasting battery and VGA recording capability i will buy it the day it is launched no matter what the cost!
OK. Good Basic Phone. But Provide 1500 mAh battery for longer stand by time.
I like the consent of Nokia that they finally come to there OS in all phone and I will increase there sale and those who really bay a smartphone and they dont have budget for that. Finally C5 is a better option for them and I am sure I am going to buy a C5 for me:-)
