However, it seems fine at 100% when clicked in 5 MP mode. Shouldn't be a challenge. Moreover, it depends a lot on the lighting conditions especially in such small cameras.

I just want to know how's the quality of the picture taken when they are viewed and zoomed in a computer. Because I've noticed that on Gsmarena's sample photos, the old C5's photo quality is better than E5's when both photos are zoomed. Thanks for the reply anyway. I love this phone and I'm willing to accept its downside.
Anonymous, 06 Aug 2011Hi. i wanna know if font's can be edited to large fonts HAHA :DD
thanksYes, they can be. In fact, this is the first thing I checked as the phone was meant for my father.
You cannot edit the font size of the home screen but you can edit the font size of the sub menus and select from Small, Normal and Large.
The main menu font remains the same but rest every sub menu including the contacts list and the messaging (type and read) font increases to a comfortable reading level.

You are better off buying a pocket camera with optical zoom feature for less than Rs 4000. Otherwise, the clarity is superb. Others have also said good things about the camera - the quality hasn't been sacrificed. I guess the very reason for Nokia to relaunch this phone is 'coz they wanted to bring in the 5 MP camera. The 3.15 MP camera C5's production has been stopped. Hope this helps.

Omi, 05 Aug 2011Hi buddy! So you have a nokia c5 phone, may I ask you about the sound output of this phone. Do... moreThe sound output is adequate, nothing I would complain about. Moreover, the battery back up is so amazing that you can feel free to keep it on vibration + ring mode all the time if you need that extra alert. But like most Nokia(s), it is very acceptable.
Hi. i wanna know if font's can be edited to large fonts HAHA :DD
Head phones are not good, if u r used enjoy music on mobile then this is not the one for u.....
Battery is not that powerful..
lots of applications, battery gets drained pretty fast..
Hi! How about the sound output of this phone? Is the ring volume of this phone loud? Please I need to know. Thanks

I'm convinced that this is really an improved version of Nokia C5-00. Besides, I don't know where can I still find the old C5 in case the camera is not so good for a 5MP phone, because almost all the stores here in the Philippines no longer sell the old one. Thanks for the info.! I really love this phone. This may not be a head turner because there's nothing new about it, no touchscreen, no QWERTY keyboard but I'm the person who look to what I can do with a phone not on how it looks. But I love its classic look though other people find it boring. Thanks!
Hello, I recently hard formatted my phone using call+3+* buttons during startup. After that I have lost even default apps like qik, youtube etc. I have a full backup from ovi suite but even that does not restore the device completely (like the Brain challenge 3 does not show up), I have tried reinstalling firmware using ovi suite as well as nsu but it did not help. reformatting the phone does not help either. Please help!!!
itz awesome but i wana 2 know,a 1 thing from you :-) can yu tell me something abt its camera quality bcz 5mp camera is also have nokia x2 but x2 is not compatible for me i want best of best camera quality phone in low range......plz plz plz
i agree with phoneswitcher. it has simple looks but all the best features of a smartphone.
no need to carry digicam.when going on trips as its 5mp cam (with flash) is awesome.most of the phones in this range has cam without flash which is useless at night/poor light conditions.it has docement viewer, video call, more memory now. all these features make it a class above the rest.
Eric, 05 Aug 2011Hi! I guess you can help me with this one. I'm planning to buy this phone but I'm afraid Nokia... moreThe camera's great. I tried to take pictures in an area with no light. The image quality is like a digital camera not only that I tried to play music and it had a very good music quality. The annoying thing about this phone is that it has too many applications that are useless and it takes up space in your memory card and it has no Wifi. But if you like things simple then this is the phone for you. :D
Itzz d ultimate choice for anybody who wantzz simplicity on d outside but wantzz all d coolest stuff in it ...!!

I'm planning to buy this phone but I'm afraid Nokia sacrificed its camera quality just to give the phone a 5MP camera. The Nokia E5 has 5MP camera but the photo quality is very poor when zoomed compared to Nokia C5's 3.2MP which I can say the best on its range. I compared the photos taken using the two phones in gsmarena's review. Could you compare the photos taken on your C5 5MP to gsmarena's sample photo in Nokia C5 3.2MP's review and also on E5? Zoom the photos and look at the quality of the pictures. Tell me if the quality is as good as the old C5 or even better. If not, please tell me if it's better than E5's photo. Please do me a favor. Thanks!
