there r very limited options below rs.10,000/- with sec. camera.most of them r java based which don't support third party applications. i think c5 is the best of the lot with all the features of a smartphone and with a flawless performance.

So you have a nokia c5 phone, may I ask you about the sound output of this phone. Does the sound output of this phone too loud? Or you can hear the phone rings even your in a crowded place? I own a nokia 6303 classic, and I miss lots of calls and text messages even I adjust the ring volume to maximum for the sound output of this phone is too soft.

I just bought this phone today after a lot of research. I had bought HTC Wildfire S for my father just couple of days ago but he is not very comfortable with the super sensitive touch and complex user interface. Moreover, he has got big hands and something or the other keeps getting accidentally pressed.
Anyway, I loved the build quality of C5. Slim, yet chunky to hold - feels very robust and will last years. Battery back seems very good too. User interface is super smooth with lots of customizable options. Camera performance of 5 MP is amongst the best out there. The menu could be arranged in 4-5 different ways and so can the home screen be customized in 5 different ways. Speak quality is superb as well. The phone could be charged via the USB data cable supplied in the box. The new black color looks awesome though I bought the grey silver - I think it looks elegant.
I bought it from Sector 22, Chandigarh (India) for Rs 7300 + Rs 240 for original Nokia Car Charger and Rs 150 for a cover in which the cell fits very well. I bought the cover 'coz my father is going to use this cell and the cover helps holding this otherwise slim profile cell in big hands.
Buy it with eyes closed, you won't regret this one. BTW, this is the only smartphone with regular keypad and most rich in features. GPS is free along with voice guided navigation. Display look good too, I would prefer 2.4 inches any day, but then my options were limited. Let me know if I can help answer any queries you might have regarding this cell. Thanks.
