Hey all! I bought this phone a coupla days back after failing to find the wave, which was my initial choice. I was able to get this for 13k in bangalore. Performance-wise, I should say I am quite satisfied with it. I had to update the firmware myself on my comp, but once i did that there was noticiable improvement in the responsiveness. The messaging on C6 is very comfortable owing to the hardware keyboard. However, I'd have liked it if there was sms conv threading. On the multimedia side, the phone is satisfactory; it has FM radio with RDS and AF, the music player does its job pretty well. Change the bundled headset if you want. However, I was disappointed as it does not play DivX out of the box. The DivX player from the DivX homepage plays DivX vids with pauses. The cam does its job well for a phone camera, but don't expect it to replace your standalone camera it you're a photo-freak.
Internet browsing is OK. GPS works very well, too. I was able to get a lock within seconds within the city once i activated my GPRS too.
Overall, I'd say it's quite a cool phone with handy features and good hardware.
I'd like to know from other users about good applications that I can install on my phone, and also from where i can get them. I'd also appreciate if someone could suggest a good free anti-virus for my phone.

Its a wounderful mobile i have ever seen among Nokia,
I mean my N73 is far better than this in multitasking.
I brought this for secondary usage, i dont think it will perform more than that.
After fresh reboot without any applications its RAM memory left is 30 MB, Great Dissapointment.

P... moredude....... if ur concering abt social stuff ill recomand u to stick with the c6... or other wise go for a x6 man.... a awsome phone..\m/ greatest music phone ever made by nokia... still cant beat that quality.... its up to you.! buying the greatest or the good one...

I m using this mobile for the past one month. The look and features are awesome. But there were some software problems in the mobile.
Whenever i click any news feeds in facebook the phone will automatically restart. so i got the software updated from nokia care and now everything is working fine. cool phone with so many features and low price...

i brought this phone on 29 november , software was pre updated but yesterday i update the new os update(20.0.041) and cell hanging alots, the operting also very slow compair to last os. and battery backup is also very bad , guys plz dont go for this mobile.........is it really 5 megapixel camera??photo quality is bad but video quality is fine

First time here, but taking the time to warn people about this phone.
I just bought this phone yesterday and it hung within 10 minutes of usage.
I updated the firmware and the hanging stopped... for a few hours.
It now hangs every 20-30 minutes and I have to remove the battery to fix it.
The keypad is flimsy, the individual keys have started rattling and the D-Pad gets dirty quickly.
With medium usage, the slider has become loose and now the phone is very rickety.
Considering that I paid 13.8K for it, I feel cheated and would like everyone to beware of this.
