Nokia C6 - user opinions and reviews

I will suggest everyone to try out this phone a few days before drawing a conclusion. Mine is rm-612, I never suffer any hanging issue so far (4 months old). It's a unit specific problem so stop bashing it.

I just bought a nokia c6 from Erode, TN. The phone worked great for a couple of hours and then hung several times.
I checked the forum and found that a new software update was released.
I patched the software and it did help. However, the phone's behaviour is erratic at times. It does hang, but only about 6-8 times a day as opposed to 20-30 times a day before the patch.
The reason why I'm posting this is the sheer co-incidence that the shop I bought it from was owned by a very decent person, but he had a very aggressive sales person who sold me this phone.
I remember the name on that gold badge very clearly. It was "Sudhakar"!
Draw your own conclusions but I feel Sudhakar is very passionate about his job and feels that this is a good product. I think we should salute him for that.

c6 just received a new firmware update. From what I heard it reduced the hanging problem (though I don't suffer from any hanging problem so far). It's now even snappier than before, the speed simply makes you forgot that it's holding a 434mhz processor! The screen orientation speed matches the 600mhz running SE symbian handset.

please inform bcz i am going to buy this one...my fone was hanging all the time, sent it to nokia care, they 'fixed' it and updated to the latest firmware...
it still hangs..
it had a 'Oct' manufacture date... but still is like a dabba fone.. hangs all the time.
my advice... try your luck if you wish

i bought it last week,although it looked excellent n features like 5mp camera,touchscreen and qwerty keypad but it hangs n sometimes it becomes too slow and battery hardly lasts long for a day.

Looks like you guys might be correct about the hanging issue:

I wanted to throw this phone back at the salesman.

Amazing phone.. never thought nokia can give such a nice touch phone after failure in many of their phones..
