Hi Guys,
Firstly, to all NOKIA C-6 victims/suffers (which includes me also), I express my sympathy and curse the time for buying this ultimate FUCKED UP mobile phone cause I understand the feeling when our hard earned money goes down the drain in this manner.
Secondly, I am sure that every JERK in this forum who is using the adjectives GOOD or NICE for NOKIA C-6 must have used really cheap and pathetic mobile phones before they graduated to own a NOKIA C-6.
And further, who are saying that they have not faced any problems after purchasing the mobile of the millennium NOKIA C-6, kindly shut you gob and stay happy instead of telling around people that there is no problem with it at all. Just go to the temple and thank GOD for making you lucky this time for getting a proper NOKIA C-6 amongst mostly defective NOKIA C-6 launched in the market.
GUYs we are having serious problems with our NOKIA C-6 and I will appreciate if you can offer any solution to it otherwise stay off this forum cause that way you will surely help us.
NOKIA C-6 victims/suffers – Nokia Care is not going to offer and permanent solution apart from upgrading the software (problem will still be there after upgrade) or it will get worse. TRUST ME.
I got my NOKIA C-6 software upgraded and apart from hang problem still persisting, to my horror my QWERTY key pad is not working properly. From running pillar to post, I was informed by another Nokia care that my handset has been tampered. I have informed wherever I was made to go that I will complain with Consumer Forum if I am not given any proper relief.
Guys please know that Consumers are the King of the market and Consumer Forum is more or less inclined in favour of Complaining consumers provided if you are claims are adequately justified and rational. So you always have this option. I know this process consumes quite some time but never mind this pain, since those buggers ought to learn a lesson.
Consumers are allowed to present their case themselves and you don’t need to hire a Lawyer for that.
I got to know through this forum that Nokia has stopped the shipment of C-6 phones in Indian market and will re launch the same after rectifying the general prevalent problem.
My question is that prospective customers of C-6 will get to buy proper C-6 but what about people like us who have already purchased this stupid phone.
Will proper software launch of C-6 will surely solve our
1. hang problem
2. short battery life problem
3. hinges of sliders from becoming loose
4. over heating of the phone
5. qwerty key pad problem
6. many other problems waiting to be discovered in C-6.
I suggest that apart from discussing our problems in the Forum, please complain to Nokia Customer Care Manager in Delhi via mail or email (Contact details available at the box pack of C-6) and then kindly discuss their feed backs in this forum so that we are become aware of any discrepancies in their feed backs considering the fact that we are having same problems.
Anyways vowing never ever to purchase a NOKIA phones.

I was planning to buy this mobile, but thanks to your personal experience that stopped me from buying it. Heard the hanging problems and so on.. Can't handle all those on a new mobile. So please suggest me some good touch screen nokia mobiles. Need to guy it soon.

Hi All,
After waiting for more than 5 months, i got the mobile on 10-10-10. here my personnal exp with the mobile.
1)Starting on the first day of usage i found that the mobile suddnely gets hang and no response, need to remove the battery and restart that.
2) Went/rushed to the Nokia Care center and they mentioned that it was a software update problm.
3) Even after software update, issue is still OPEN, Hanging of mobile, suddnly blank screen with full vibration. these are the open issues with this mobile in my hand.
Today im planning to blast the Nokia Care people asking for a change, i cant handle this kind of mobile in hand anymore.
Any idea whether there can be change of the mobile ( model change according our preference) that canbe handled at the Nokia care centre?
I have purchased the mobile from the Nokia dealer at bangalore. Now im at chennai ..
Please share your thoughts how to get value for the amnount i spent on this mobile (13 k).

Dönt buy c6.. Go for x6.. X6 have many advantage over c6 like
1) x6 have carl zeisis lens and dual led flash and c6 has normal lens and single poor led flash
2) x6 has stereo loud speaker while c6 mono
3)x6 has 128mb ram while c6 has no ram
4)x6 has 8gb internal and c6 has 280 mb
5)u will get vacumm earphone in x6 and normal in c6
6)c6 is heavier and hang related issue
and most imp u'll get unlimited access of ovi.com
and price for both is almost same
then y shud v compromise after giving so much money..

Review on C6:
After waiting for 9 months, I finally had my hands on Nokia C6. Visualizing the phone for 9 months seeing it in internet, when I took it on my hands it was not as cute as it was on pictures (effect of high expectation :P). Not bad, phone looks okay. Good qwerty key pad, no problem in using the keys. Touch is as same as other Nokia touch phones. Camera is average, not a very good cam. Phones weighs heavy, 150g is bad! Ear phones are too bad, should have given X6 ear phones but audio is good. Overall its worth the money you pay.
Plus:
Rate!!! Best for 13K.
qwerty key pad, makes messaging/e-mailing simple.
4 way key and joy stick makes surfing better.
Good audio quality
Minus:
Weight of 150g
Really poor ear phones
No stylers given
If you dont mind a bit heavy phone, GO FOR IT!!!

C6 is not upto the mark..lots of hanging prob reporting.. If you wanna buy some phone in same range try e5.. Its good .. Fast
