The cliche is that we Indians have a tag of "Influential ... moreConsidering the fact that nokia is by far the most popular brand in india and the excellent price/functionality ratio of their midrange products, it is only normal for any right minded individual to give preference to nokia branded products over others. Its not india specific. Its everywhere. Thats why americans buy iphones. Here in nigeria its either nokia or others. There is no competition.
That nokia products are popular guarantees software availability, aftersales support and repairs. I for one won't be buying any other brand but nokia anytime soon. Not until they've established themselves and gained popularity. I'm no guinea pig. I won't be buying a brand with the hope that the apps or support would come with time.

Also can it p... moreSorry, i havent try any game with it, but i guess it'll just like my old 5800xm. The apps u play on 5800 sud b ok on this phone also, cos they use the same symbian platform. For it's sound, it's volume is abt 65% of 5800 cos it has just 1 speaker but 5800 has 2; It's out of the box earphone quality very bad, can trash, but if output to my car stereo, it perform much close to my ipod, but tat just the matter of taste right :)

wud like to ask u few ... moreI've try many devices b4 i make the purchase, i personally feels tat it's keyboard is the best between n97mini n vivaz pro. It's button is the largest n it's spacebar location is near center so both ur left n right hand finger can reach it n tat's the reason i giv my rate for it :)
For lagging issue, sure it doesn't lag like my old 5800 ler, it'll quit my apps if it's running out of memory, 5800xm will just hang there n required a reboot. Wat apps i'm running at a time? Web, Music player, Palringo, Phonebook, OperaMobile... Act i seldom off my running apps, wakaka

i love this phone and will surely going to buy this now..was confused wether to buy X6 8gb of 13000 or N79 of same rate or this one.but i guess i m going to buy tihs one only.But the bad news is i askd today to Nokia priority executive he said it will take 2 mnths more.Bt when i askd somethng abt C6 so he was not much aware of it..Dunno

The cliche is that we Indians have a tag of "Influential buyers" and we only buy things which others feel are good. We are so very afraid of trying new products that we dont give a chance to other products. I remember buying a Hyundai car when they first came in with their santro and every person around me had his jaw dropped thinking how can I buy something else than Maruti Suzuki. Look at hyundai now!! Give me a break ppl and try something else than nokia!! They always come up with hand sets with a hefty price tag and later they screw their buyers by a vertical price drop. I am not a nokia critic or hate using nokia phones, however I now feel that nokia does nothing but to change cases and processors of the phones and roll a new model out with the same old Symbian OS. In his post, Jay has hit the bulls eye but sayin that we should stop buyin nokia phones and make em realize how imp we are in nokia's portfolio when it comes to their world wide sales figures. I mean no offence to anybody here and specially to nokia die hard fans. I apologize if any one of you feel offended because of my post.
