Ronn, 20 May 2010cant exactly tell why...but i am having a feeling that 5800 is a better phone than C6.C6 has n... morehow can we know that this phone has graphic accelerator or not? i mean where it is mentioned on the specification page?

i am really disappointed with cheap old headsets with this model,,must have in-ear stereo headsets,all in all nice handset with gr8 apps and support..just wait for release and see its review before buying.i am sure it will be an average hit by nokia :)

cant exactly tell why...but i am having a feeling that 5800 is a better phone than C6.C6 has no graphics accelerator, no stylus(probably),trash headphones,etc...anyone else having the same feeling ?? :)

Niraj, 20 May 2010Symbian^3 requires graphics accelerator.. Since this phone dont have gpu so it cant run symbia... morethe graphic accelerator is only for Game (openGL) not for the homescreen and other apps.

Since this phone dont have gpu so it cant run symbian^3.. But agree if Nokia wants then they can easily give some features of s^3 in this phone, eg: multiple home page, better RAM management etc..

I know, there wont be any metal parts but its very important whih kind of plastics they will using for it!
Like the n900..its of plastics but its very very solid!
My Samsung Jet has really bad build quality with cheap plastics and u must imagine there are only also cheap apps (java apps ) and 90% of them are unuseless!
I have bought the Jet only because of divx support!
Can nokia play divx over applications or something like that ?

but now a days capacitive type of touch screens are good

need time to explain things in ryt way.. but not wat i can tell u is I researched about a lot n finally got smthing better .. n now deserately w8ing to buy it.. as it is not available in ma city yet

the 5800XM have 256MB NAND flash, the OS is around 170MB, that's leaves a 80MB free memory.
The C6 have 512MB NAND flash, and the same OS (but with more software). the OS + software is around 260MB (new ovi maps, new nokia messaging software), thus leaving around 240MB free memory.
The N8 have 512MB NAND flash, and the OS is around 380MB, thus making it have a free memory around 130MB.

Nokia want to let user of S60v5 edition (a.k.a symbian^1) upgrade to their symbian^3 OS, than 5800 and N97 (32gb) can't upgrade to symbian^3 OS, but the C6 (or N97mini (8gb?) **MIGHT** be able to upgrade to symbian^3.
**REASON**
Symbian^3 use around 377MB (see http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/N8/). With 256MB (not 80MB?) memory on 5800, the Symbian^3 can't be installed to 5800XM. But C6 with 512MB (not200mb(same as N8 16GB) have enough NAND memory for symbian^3.
but... that's **IF** nokia wanted to....hmmm maybe they wont cos N8 need to sold world wide YEZZZZAAAA

so, you might need to wait for a couple more week. to be honest with you. i'm waiting for this phone too. and i really want this phone badly that make me come to this page of gsm arena every day :(
this phone will be great. if you want to know about the speed, ask your friend that have N97mini. it should have the same speed as the N97mini because it have the same amount of RAM and cpu speeds.
the only different with N97mini is the price, and the lack of TV-out and 8 GB internal storage. The C6 use the microSD card whereas N97mini use 8GB internal storage + microSD card.

well am thinking of a good phone 2 buy...
some one suggested me this and told me that it is newly released....
i have gone through its features and everything...and i was shocked my seeing its rate... such good features at low price....i was happy 4r that moment...
but i thought it is a new phone and i dnt know abt its performance....how could i afford it with out knowing its performance.......
so plz can any one tell me abt this phone..
and advantages affording it..... as a student i do a lot of typing... so this QWERTY suits me?????
