Just i want to know that is it possible to go back to ... moreWell, not that we can do it, but I'm sure if you take it to a Service center, they can do a hard reset - format the phone and install the original SW - the Symbian^3. It's just that that feature has not been provided at the user level.

In my opinion its great and no other set can compare with it. Its touch screen is better than N8 in working. Its net speed is good and working more better after updated.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2011I don't have 3G coverage in my area, so d option available 4 me to upgrade to anna symbian is ... moreIt's ok if you dont have 3G. On a PC you need Nokia Software updater (latest version) or Nokia Suite (formerly Ovi Suite).
Steps...
1) connect your phone to the PC by the USB Cable.
2) When the phone is detected, open the Nokia Suite and make sure it detects the phone.
3)on the Nokia Suite - Go to Tools ... Software Updates ... It will show Nokia Suite version and your device - Nokia C7 software availability. ... click the button and when the dialog box comes click on all the options ... there will be at least four updates ... tick all of them and proceed.
It's that simple ... the phone also keeps on charging while you are connected so no worries.

i hv also dell inspiron i5 genuin w7 64 bit.initially i used my c7 & n86 connect with my lappy for net surffing via bluetooth....bt after installed w7 32bit, now bluetooth connection hv some problem,dont know y. Its fault of laptop not mobile. So just call dell custmer care n they will fix it.

After updating Symbian Anna in C-7, its front camera does not wokring and following error message appears "Unexpected error occured.Please restart the camera. If this does not help, try restarting the phone"
I tried every possible way but unable to recover my camera. Kindly help me out, should I go for old C-7 OS i.e Symbian^3 OS??

Its vry simple. Use d norton antivirus hack method. Afta installing ur rompatcher, apply d open4all patch. Then use ur xplore n move d installserver patch to c/sys/bin. Now u cn install unsigned apps

Just Dial *#0000# On Ur Dialing Screen There you'll Get The Current Software Version Installed. After Just Go to OPTION, The Click Check for Updates..
But you should have the Internet Settings Done on your C7, After It'll Automatically Ask to Download Update.. then Install Them After Download,
For this you prefer having a 3G Network Coverge area and Cheapest Cost Network Sim Card also Make Sure your Mobile Is Fully Charged..
