Hi everyone I have a few questions I would like to ask and hope someone can give me a few answers. I want to ask is it normal for playing games e.g angry birds to generally drain the battery quickly. Also according to Nokia Battery Monitor 2.2 it takes more or less a 110 minutes to recharge my phone once the battery is completely dead (seen 115 minutes once)Lastly is it true you can polish the silver bottom part of the phone with brasso/silvero to get rid of some scratches that have occurred even though the phone has been carefully placed in my pocket - is it safe to do it? I would appreciate any feedback when anyone gets a chance. Otherwise I have had the phone for about 3 weeks now - (my new one that is) and it is a really great phone although I wish the battery lasted longer.

dhaval, 23 Nov 2011hi frd my c7 phone but night camera is dark plz give me.. how night camera is high nd nice pho... moreTaking a dark scene is a challenge for any camera, let alone a phone camera with fixed focus lens and no choice of apperture selection. Given the situation, you should try tweaking around with the options in the camera.
My suggestion ...
Click on the ... three dotted symbol towards the right bottom of the screen. This will pop up another window . Click on Exposure (the button with the +/- sign). Now you will find a bar towards the right side... tweak the setting to get to +0.5 or 1 or depending upon the situation - higher still. The choice is max 2. Click on OK and then click a photo. This should increase the light considerably.

It all depends upon your connection. Using WiFi or the Nokia Suite on a PC might solve your problem. We are not too clear about your problem.

One thought...
Nokia had been reluctant to use higher powered CPUs on its phones for a long time. Symbian^3 phones like our own C7 & N8 or C6-01 or E7 or X7-00 etc got a slightly higher power with more RAM. Now why would Nokia bring in 1Ghz / 512 RAM big brothers of these phones if there was no compromise in something or else. I am sure it would not want to kill these popular little very capable phones. Would it?

After update you will notice OVI Store will automatically updated and work fine. Thank you.

i using nokia c7 last 1 year but not any single problem i faced, i also using nokia suite it is amazing and i also do so many downloads from nokia store it's really great experience.

Dear All C7 Users & Potential Owners
Here is a copy from a comment from the Nokia 701 page and all who think 1Ghz processor and 512 MB or RAM will work for you...

What I can't understand is, if it can work on the C6-01 (680Mz, 256Mb), why won't it work on the Nokia 701 (1Gz 512Mb).
As far as I read, it seems that these games haven't been 'optimized' for the Nokia 701's higher specs, but that sounds a little absurd to me.

OLA, 22 Nov 2011pls, am using nokia c7 but i have some problems with the phone. I cannot open NOKIA OVI SUITE ... moreNokia OVI suite is now called Nokia Suite and you should download the latest version for your phone. It is advisable to have WiFi connection.
For Updates you can either do it connected to a PC using Nokia Software updater, or Nokia Suite. Or if you have a WiFi connection go to Menu ... Settings ... Phone ... Phone Management ... Device updates.
