Yesterday, I took about 40 minutes of videos of the Annual Day functions at my 3 year old son's school. I have to admit guys .... the "Video is Good" .... better than expected ...with great sound recording too, thanks to the two microphones strategically placed in C7.

Just backup your important stuffs before the process. That should solve many problems. After the format, just upgrade the software to the latest one. Good Luck!

I have purchased this C7 set from a Singapore store. I have just started using it for the last 10 days. I am facing a strange problem of the set getiing blacked out- means it does not respond to any option- neither i am able to switch off the set. Have anybody faced this sort of problem.. can anybody respond

no worryiesHi Owner this is a response I got from Nokia Care... I stay in South Africa as since today is my last day in which I can take back my phone to get it returned I have no choice but to see what Vodacom my service provider says

Yesterday i downloaded battery monitor2 from ovi store. Belive me its amazing n so much useful software.try it ppl.

Mine had some lines visible similar to what you describe when my screen protector film was on, disappeared when I removed it..

Hi everyone. I would like to know do any C7 owners have what looks like 10 vertical lines on the screen of their C7 when the phone is in standby or when the device is off? I have noticed them on my brand new C7 the other day. I just want to know if this normal for the display or is something wrong. Greatly appreciate any feedback.

drakula, 22 Oct 2011I had installed the "Symbian Anna Service Pack" - what's this for? I didn't notice... morehi mate! I also downloaded that upgrade, but didn't notice any change. Info says something about better scrooling through messages and some other things, but it's all same to me. I guess it's just some minor bug fixing update... :)

Only when the camera is not available or for a quick video shoot will you be using the phones. Like I said Phones are phones and Dedicated Real Cameras are well ... the real thing. There is just no compromise. Enjoy!

Ashman, 23 Oct 2011It is definitely faster ... but comes as a compromise between build quality / camera / flash /... moreim agreed wid u ashman...personally i also feel that c7's built quality is realy great just like nokia 701,even look wise its better than n8(if nokia fitts n8's camera in 701/c7 then it wud b best n mind blowing camera phone).
Ashman i just bought nikon s3100 4days back.its realy amazing 14.1mp with 5X optical zoom n super sleek body just 18.9 mm.

AnonD-23327, 22 Oct 2011wow nokia 603 is out now its much better than c7 faster bec 1gh and cheaper, people who buy c7... moreIt is definitely faster ... but comes as a compromise between build quality / camera / flash / storage space etc. It is built for the mass market. What I am really envious about is the GPU rather than the CPU. I would love to have that GPU in C7. I'm sure opening and executing bigger games like Asphalt 6 etc will be a breeze with that GPU.

go to menu->setting->phone->accessories->tv-out->long press->set as default
Now u insert the tv-out cable in A/V 3.5 mm jack and other end to apropriate tv input
now u can watch videos,pics,play games, even u can do video call also. I hv tried all these with my c7 as well as n86 8m.

Can anyone tell me how the TV Out (connecting to TV) works in C7? ... this is my first Nokia Smartphone so... some things will need expert advice. I have the cable... I have tried to connect without success. Is there any settings I might have to tweak?

All I want to do is view videos / photos on the TV and if possible play some games sometimes.
