I too wished for a 5 mp camera like the one on X6 ... moreya u r rt...thats y im still using my N86 (best camera phone in 8mp category ever) i hv taken hundreds of pic during our honeymoon trip n they r realy so amazing that cant b explained.

bt i realy luv Nokia, u can undrstnd by this Im using N86 8mp since 16th Nov 2009,my wife using C7, my sis using 5233, my father using 1108,my mother using 1208...my previous phone was 3230 used for 3 and half yr.
My roomate(last yr) ie. My senior previously used Sony ericson bt irritated due to very poor battery back up,now he is using E5 n satisfied so much nw.

your thoughts are very true... I too wished for a 5 mp camera like the one on X6 (with autofocus and Carl Zeiss lens) on a capable smartphone like C7 instead of a bumped up mega pixel. If only my wishes had come true.
I have a 8 MP Canon camera which is very capable and produces great shots in all situations with manual and auto functions. Phone cameras are somewhat limited in functions and cannot compete with the real things.
I guess we have to compromise between phone functionality and photography. Anyway the C7 takes relatively great pictures when the lighting is right. Cheers!!!

Ashman, 14 Oct 2011Dr. Sahab, I think Nokia wants more Symbian^3 users. I think they want to throw in more phone... moredear im also fan of symbian^3,anna. Bt if they make 5mp A/F with carl zeiss optics instide of 8mp fixed focus,then most of the users wil prefer 5mp. And in real life uses 5mp AF is more useful than 8mp fixed focus

I think Nokia wants more Symbian^3 users. I think they want to throw in more phones and get more people hooked. I guess a lot of people would not bother too much about mega pixels and flashlights etc. I do wish my C7 had the processing power and the RAM of these new phones. I hope Nokia unleases the full processing power of C7 with the Belle upgrade. Cheers!!!

The 603 only supports micro sim which is a major headache. The sim has to be cut precisely to fit in.

the camera also lacks flash... useful for photography ... can also provide video light ... can also be used as a torch... I think that is a major downgrade. What do you say?!?

The Nokia 603 lacks front camera, has 5 mp camera, has less storage space, built of plastics entirely. Now you decide.

dont knw y nokia giving jst fixed focus camera in there new upcuming mobile. Eg. 701,700,603,600,500 etc. They shud cum with A/f then these wud b d best mobiles.

The C7 has always serves me reliably and the improvement brought from Symbian Anna is pleasant and make the GUI run smoother.
Just too bad for Nokia the despite their best effort could not overcome the negative effect on their CEO windows mobile announce. Personally i would not buy a windows mobile phone. I own an xbox 360 and despise how they mark up on the pricey accessories. Average 3x markup, eg 250Gb HDD for $100++, well above the $30 generic brand HDD.
The only good things for consumer is Nokia high end phones are cheaper than before. My other spare phone is the Motorola Milestone 2.

ofcourse nokia 700 is better than c7 bec it has 1 ghz fast processor and now i think its waste to buy c7 bec nokia 603 is coming soon faster and cheaper....

if nokia gv A/F camera in there phones then realy ppl like them.even 5pm A/f with Carl zeiss optics is much better than Fixed focus 8mp camera. Nokia plz take it as advise.

Valadar, 13 Oct 2011Hi everyone I am getting ready very shortly 2purchase this phone. I would just like 2hear your... morec7's much better than the 700 but the 701 is better than it cuz of the processor and ram. But the c7 has an amoled screen so don't expect much of a price difference between the 701 and the c7. Amoleds are rare and comparitively expensive and aids power saving.

Its Ok.yes C7 wil hv belle update most probably mid Nov..i hv bn using it since last Feb, n there is no problem at all. Every thng is fine n fast as fluid..go n grab it. Its an amazing cell ph frm Nokia.

I used this phone for 3 months. It's GORGEOUS!! I love it! I play hd games, surf the web, stream music via fm transmiter, send emails, use facebook via fMobi app, read books from app store, watch movies (with subtitles, because i installed the N8 video pkayer). It'a a great phone. Since i bought this phone i only open my computer 1-2 times a week when i need to print something :)) Everything i used to do on computer now i do on my phone. :X

Hey i updated my c7 to anna software.. but still the purple tint issue still excist.. r u facing the same problem.. plz tell me wats the solution to it..
