I had the same problem as you I just bought my c7 a few days ago and the charger did not charge, I just firmly plugged in the charger, I also ise my old charger from my nokia e51 or any other nokia charger with the same connection.
They are a good phone you can also charge it with your USB connection via computer or any usb port device.
If your phone is not actually charging by the charger then just have it checked out from the store you bought it from.

i just own a nokia c7 phone for a month,already had problem with charging isuse the phone did not charged. first i though i had a bad circuit elctricity in my house but soon i found out the phone had a problem with a plug -in hole for charger was not engaged properly.can anyone tell me how can i use another method for charging my phone or should i return it for a better phone?

ma, 18 Jun 2011From where do you get sleeping screen?@ma, you can get nokia sleeping screen at nokia beta lab. It's still under testing so you cant it find it at ovi store.

thanksplease dont buy . galaxy ace. phone i brought this phone 2 month ago my friend buy wave2 which is disappoinment so i sell my ace in 1 month. using wave2 1 month. bada is good in gaming front camera ,,digital camera, super clear screen,hd video,. 512mb ram so install many apps ,ace 128mb ram uslless
. i like bada . only the number of apps less. 1 ghz proccesor wave2. bada apps are cheaper than andro

Nokia C7 is much better thn galaxy.....with usb on the go (OTG) cable u can connect portable hard disk, pen drive, card reader, mouse etc. Only bad thing is that u hv to buy this cable.......its not included into sales package. Who want this cable? Just reply me.
