i can see so many posts in which the guys who say that they don't have purple tint issues ar... morethe fact is that only few people would say their c7 gat no purple tint.from my research so far,i realised 9 out of ten people using this fone have this as a bug on what would have being Nokia's SMARTEST smartphone.some are saying theirs gat none bcos they don't understand what on earth we're referting to as the''purple tint issue in Nokia C7''.As for me i'v being using it for some time(specifically 2 months) now and the only problems i'm having wit the phone are;
(1) poor battery backup.i can hardly use mine for 4 hours non-stop non-3g browing(cos i'v gat no 3g service in my area).
(2) The most popular and yet a harmless PURPLE TINT which you would only notice if you wanna preview picture.
If these two problem can be fixed believe me this would be Nokia best fone ever.Nonetheless, it's a very great,handsome,elegant device one can ever have as a companion.
For those who are contemplating on buying it,take my word for it,u gonna enjoy it.especially if u're not always on the move(wouldn't be able to charge the fast draining battery) and if u'r not living in or planning to come to 9JA where we've gat nothing but an absolute constant power supply.

I have bought a browny , Hungary made C7, very good mobile phone...only one problem and it will be the best.
the phone died after two weeks of usage, Nokia says it is the CPU that is blown out.
bad for C7 as a gift.!!!

I'm using a C7 too, and I'm very satisfied of its loudspeaker performance. Some lack of low frequencies is common in mobile phones products, due mainly to higher mechanical resonance frequency of the micro-loudspeakers actually on the market.

[deleted post]thanks Rahulsuneja for your reply. That means the price has not really gone down yet... I thought the prices had gone down slightly over the past 15 or so days. Well it's good to know that the Nokia stores are giving away Reebok watches. I will definitely be going for this one sometime in June or July.
Well, now that E6 and X7 are being availed in the market, we should also be getting the Anna updates.

Sarmad, 13 Jun 2011Nokia C7 has no match with android devices such as HTC Desire in terms of usability, its opera... moredude trust me, N8 indeed have plenty of advantages over C7 (camera, full metal body, accessories & built in internal memories), but C7 also have the advantages of removable battery, physical call button & slimmer design, its fits perfectly inside ur pocket, not so heavy & a bonus note : a chic magnet ;)

Though it is a pretty device with all bases covered, I wonder why people really want to buy C7, while they can have the same features with arguably the best camera ever produced in Nokia N8.
