Nokia C7 - user opinions and reviews

I received my C7 here in the Philippines last Christmas. So far, so good. I have probably installed and uninstalled over 200 apps already, and still hasn't encountered a major problem (except for the fonts issues in Qt, which can be resolved be FontZoomer and installing the latest Qt release). Camera-wise, the C7 shots are absolutely stunning except on shooting close subjects. The speed of the OS is also good, although I hope Nokia releases the Symbian Anna update already.

Connectivity/WebBrowsing: 8.5/10
Design: 10/10
App Stability: 10/10
Messaging/In-house Apps: 10/10
Other Functionalities: 10/10

unfortunately, nokia hasn't announced a specific date about anna's release..let's just wait and hope it doesn't dissapoint us as Im sure lots of symbian 3 users are looking forward to it.

Just a tip on my previous post..
Before changing fonts,
you MUST INSTALL the latest version of Qt,
i.e., Qt 4.7.2
as OVI STORE and some other apps don't support custom fonts, and may stop working after font change.
However, Qt 4.7.2 prevents those issues beforehand!!

Here goes another one.
How about having an "Off" option under your camera shutter sound options.
Yes!!
You can turn the shutter sound of your Nokia C7 (or any other Symbian^3 phone) by installing a small .sis file and rebooting your phone.
Download > Sign > Install > Reboot,
and you will find "Off" in the Capture Tone setting.
It works on C7.
Just ignore the compatibility warning.

Well.. I have DONE it friends.
I can now put any font as my C7's font!!
It's true.
I'm using Comic Sans MS right now.

I am using Nokia C7 from last one month. After purchasing, it started giving me the issue if getting off. However, I managed to get the replacement from Nokia. The replaced one is working fine from last one month. The new free apps e.g youtube downloader and PC remote control makes it a great android competitor. Inspite of great apps its camera is awesome in taking snaps as well as video recording. Its a complete phone overall.

Hi guys,
I am using the c7 from past 4 months i am not having any types of tint issue or restarting problems.i decided to buy a 16gb memory card can u guys please guide me on which company to go for and which class to purchase.
Oh regarding 3g download speed i am getting 500 to 800KB/S.i am using airtel.

AMOLEDs are known to have some sort of tints under certain conditions compared to LCD or TFT screens. After reading your post, I transferred the test images onto my Galaxy S. Mine doesnt show any tint on the Galaxy S and it didnt even on my C7. I would say like I've said previously that if the tint on anyone's C7 is light and not interfering with the use of the phone, then let it be and enjoy the phone without worrying about it. I know I am. :)
