M waiting 4 ur sugestion.r u referring to the font style of text messaging? if yes go to menu click messaging then click options under options there's a font style click it and choose ur desired font style....hope this helps...

wowwwwwwwwwww i got new nokia c7 day before yesterday n yesterday i udate its firmware and its really nice n best phone and also installed games on it hd games cricket,asphalt 5 ,nfs and many more its really gud lukin n best phone forget n8 it is best from it n get c7 camera is also fabilous i get ir 10/10 marks....and john ur right its really gud thanks john my frnd...

Overall as far as the specifications, you wont find a better phone than the No... moreI agree with most of what you've said, except for one minor detail : The king of customizability (is that a word!) is the N900/Maemo 5. EVERY aspect of the UI, and I mean everything from widgets, backgrounds,themes, widget sizes, position,fonts, system sounds,animations and transitions and even the default OS itself can be customized. Oh and if thats not enough, you can multiboot into a power kernel or android (Nitdroid) if you prefer. Android is extremely customizable too, but takes second place to maemo. And comparing the iOS's customizability and the N900's is comparing fireworks to a rocket ship.
That said, its a one time glory device of Nokia's, something that will receive no official support anymore except for the maemo community, but its something Nokia can look back at and say "We had a good thing going and we killed it."
Its off topic here, but just wanted to pay tribute to my favorite device (no,its not a phone).

Some apps from the ovi store show an installation error, which usually can be avoided by installing through ovi suite.. What I'd suggest is to try it a couple of times thru ur phone(sometimes the store itself gives an error, so try after some time), and if its still not working then download from ovi store on ur pc (by sending the link to ur phone or by replacing the "send to friend" in the url after selecting that option to "download". It will be saved on ur pc and then install it thru ovi suite. I havent faced errors in ovi store beyond what I've described..so hope it works for you.

Hi guys, i just bought a nokia C7 2 days back,it was a made in korea piece, it had purple tints on the display while using the camera,on the bottom of the screen& also black images would turn purple,have returned the piece back to nokia,i wanted to know,is it that the 'made in korea' pieces have this problem? which make should i buy now? please help,thank you i am from mumbai

I havent tried it out though, the version I'm using is v3.1 for symbian s60v5, which works fine except for the annoying double tap behaviour :) I have some stuff hidden on my phone so I dont want to uninstall and install a new version, but try it out and let me know if it works for you. i bought c7 2 days back...and it is awsome technology..fm transmitter rocks n hd games runs flawlessly...i hate those people who r saying bad words for this phone...wel i hd purple issue in my phone..bt it doesnt bothr me much

skkn, 25 Mar 2011thanks for the reply Maverick... seems many not using MFE as no one seems to be aware of it.I'm facing this stupid and irritating issue too, and there's just no way to fix it.
I tried hard reset and even reflash, but it will just come up again eventually...

AnonD-2983, 25 Mar 2011Yes Its true. Even I faced the same problem. The wifi wont disconnect and even though you disc... moredon't worry too much about the Wlan connection. In symbian Wlan searching and connecting uses very very little battery.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2011did you resolved the problem with the dust under the screen???pls answer!!!!Initially I got it cleaned from Nokia care. But cleaning not a solution. Within a week I saw dust getting accumulated inside the display and immediately I took my C7 to Nokia care and now they have sent to Nokia Head office for review. One week passed. Still waiting for reply from Nokia.
