Download from http://geekifysymbian.blogspot.com/ ... more#24 is just a cosmetic fix..basically it pumps up ur backlight so that the purple tint is less visible, the same as the ligthctrl app does,as mentioned by Ajith earlier. I wonder if Nokia can ever fix or will even admit this is a problem.

[deleted post]Pooja, u'd have to sign every cracked app you install. for that, you will need to get the cer and key files and use them with a signing tool like POT tools or one of the many available. the certificate is available from chinese sites like OPDA. try it out..its not difficult, i know its a pain getting it but once you do, all the apps will be open to you.

I would put it this way:
1. Defy
2. C7 (if you do not mind Symbian, and do not care for a lot of free apps., this is the way)
3. E72 (I used to have it, battery lasts for a week, but too small screen)

i had nokia phones since as long as i can remeber,5100 an others. Allso i tried every possible brand of touch screen phones that i could put my fingers on,i can say only this,nokia c7,her performance,look,speed,whell everything is great,THIS IS A GREAT PHONE

I have the phone for a week now. and i haven´t experienced any problem. the device works like a charm and runs all the apps i install really smooth. The only problem is the autofocus, but i dont really take many close pictures.
im inloved with the phone!!!!.
