The widget UI is something i see in Handy Taskman when i use that..when the phone boots up I get a fleeting glance of a settings dialog that includes things like transparency and font size, which i assumed was the widget UI going into the bckground. then i find it in handy taskman but cant bring up the UI. closing it seems to have no effect on anything. Just wondered if you found something like that. I would be nice to customize widgets, even if its only to change transparency or fonts size or color..let me know if u discover something on this front..
I tried out netqin uninstaller and seemed to work well. I uninstalled a few apps i never use but havent got my default app manager working again. oh well. :)

I hope you have your certificate and key cause then only you will have any chance of installing them. There are many sites for cracked application download and hence its not possible to write the names of all the sites. If you need any such apps then just google search for them and you will be able to get them.
Just visit mobilegamesarena.net and search for nfs shift. Or better still, use google to search this site.
Use tunewiki music player to create equilisers. This in turn make exact same equilisers in the default music player (Maverick's idea).
Dust found inside the screen and day to day its increasing. Any one faced this problem. Jow can we remove this dust particles.
Will Nokia care do this... pls help me out guys..
guys, has the purple screen problem with this phone been resolved? I want to buy this but because of that problem, it makes me think otherwise.
Ah! By the way, for those not aware of the problem, try searching for it in the net. Its been a topic of several forums.. :-)
Nice full touchscreen, sleek design, stainless steel body, latest symbian 3 OS, 8 MP camera, 3G, Wifi, USB, this phone has got all the needed features. I believe its a very nice phone. I also has applications for social networking.
Would recoment anyone to buy this phone which is as good as "N8".. I have had this phone now for 3 months now and i simply love the phone. its great.. the 3 different screens offer you to keep many apps on your fingertips without crowding the screen. touch screen is super smooth most apps run easily.. even though touch, the browsing and msging is fun and not a pain...
camera is very poor
hii everyone.. i have a c7 but m not able to set my own equilizer in the music player.. can anyone tell me how to do that.. please i really want to no.. and please tell me any site where i can get free applications but not the demo version..and at last please tell me from where should i install NFS swift... plzz tell me... kisses in advance

As far as you keep the phone memory unused, I don't think there is going to be any problems. Although I don't install all apps on the mass storage (inbuilt). Only those that require greater bandwidth (hd games and graphic intensive apps). Others on memory card. Although some apps get installed to the mass memory by default, one can easily force the phone to install the same on memory card. For that I use 'Thinkchange Autoinstaller'.
I too haven't used jbak yet. Just wondered if you did or not. Besides, who wanna lose the cool default task manager.
Ending or uninstalling apps with netquin is totally safe. But use it only if you can't uninstall apps with the default uninstaller.
I didn't get your last question on widget UI.
My first contact about C7 are very positive. I think is a underrated phone for some and even Symbian is look more than ok to me. And has a lot of potential, both hardware and software.
This site serve me well, and Maverick75 and some others, incluiding the review, help me very much. Thanks a lot.
When a tested it more, I´ll write a deeper comment, at the moment no lags, nice experience in every aspect, responsive, very good screen, quality sound and the King of connectivity. No complaints about battery life. I think it´s a winner, honestly, try for yourself.
Cheers from East Spain.
I love c7 because its a realy nice.....cellphon

Cause Symbian^... moreThe first time I faced the error the app manager just kept going back to settings..ie seeming to crash. After a reboot when I tried it again it changed my theme to default (i assume that happened cos of low memory) and it brought up the 'out of memory' msg. My N82 used to show that error with app manager, help and sometimes with contacts (i have about 350 contacts, but i dont think that should be a problem)
Anyway, all my apps are installed on the mass storage (8GB) partition, i have about 5 GB left on that. I store all my media exclusively on the memory card. Let me know ur thoughts on this issue.
I havent used Jbak taskman on the C7, are you using the S60v5 version? I have netquin av installed, havent tried out the netquin uninstaller. Do you recommend that? I'm not too worried about uninstalling, but like you pointed out, junk files tend to collect from old installations.
And btw..are you able to access the widget ui? In my phone it shows up momentarily while booting up but even though I can see it in the task manager, selecting it just takes me back to the homepage. let me know ur experience. Cheers.
Daniel, 15 Mar 2011Could you please tell me where you got these apps from?Mobile9 (biggest archive).
Mobilegamesarena (all kinds of apps kept in a very arranged manner).
N8fanclub (best to keep eye on latest symbian^3 happenings).
There are many more but these have kept me updated the most.
AnonD-2572, 15 Mar 2011Just an issue of the C7 which I've finally experienced today and have experienced on some symb... moreHmm, i see. Is it your assumption or does the phone really say 'out of memory'. Cause Symbian^1 phones just freeze when faced with similar conditions. Still have to face the same on S^3. I am not sure but I think the application manager of netqin antivirus can uninstall themes. Of all application managers, I find netqin most powerful cause if some app fails to uninstall using the phone's uninstaller, this doesn't. And because of this I was saved from many issues that I faced installing malicious apps (i mean beta versions of some apps that has side effects).
Btw, do you use Jbak task manager. Its quiet good.
