c7 is nice phone but only if its from korea bec carefull of china made it has less battry power, and make sure the software is 1.1

Overheating in C... moreI second that dude..its normal for the back cover to get slightly warm while charging..mine has never got 'too hot to handle' lol..u'll find this happening on the C6-01 as well, or even on most normal phones..

You have no idea what you did. Overheating in C7 isn't because of hardware issue. Its just that the metal battery cover of C7 has the tendency to gain heat from the user's hands. Its a basic scientific knowledge that metal has much higher heat conductivity that plastic. The mobile is heating up? So what. Just let it explode and nokia will give you a new one. At least you will know that your assumption was correct. I don't want to be rude but going back to symbian^1 is just a big mistake. I pity you........

i change my mobile that is nokia c7 bcz of over heating problem of the mobile and also changer while charging , i change the mobile and pick the another c7 but same prb..and i have seen a long chart of people facing same prb in nokia website.
so with out any other option i change my c7 and buy x6 16 GB.
its not cool like c7 at all but i cant use defective mobile.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2011to get a better picture i keep the sharpness to 'soft', this reduces the over-sharpness a litt... moreYes thats a good ploy..I use it myself, but I find it makes indoor shots worse..I've tried all sort of tweaks on the camera but have resigned myself to just using the cam when necessary and try to see that I am outdoors when do have to use it lol. The still cam is not one of the strong points of the C7.

lliiiinn, 06 Mar 2011hi,, why i cant play the movie i downloaded using utorrent,format is avi..pls help..thanksI really dont know why it doesnt play for you mate, I've populated my C7 with videos in xvid/avi format taken straight off the net..Try some other files and see, but so far I have yet to see a standard avi file that doesnt play on my C7.

AnonD-3133, 06 Mar 2011thnx a ton maverick!! but a bit of confusion still persists..I have heard the 5MP camera of w... moreI think any autofocus camera would be better than the one on the C7 or C6-01..the web browser is ok but browsing on the C7 is a pain cos there is no text reflow..you have to zoom and go from side to side in portrait mode or read a few lines and scroll in landscape mode..these are probably the biggest flaws on the C7 or C6-01..Where the Nokias will score is in the free sat nav, the great music player (album art coverflow on the C7 is better than the iphone and I'll vouch for that)and solid call quality. That and symbian has better apps than Bada..probably the only OS it will beat. The Wave II is not a bad phone but between that and the C's, I'd take the C's.

but a bit of confusion still persists..I have heard the 5MP camera of wave II with autofocus wins flatly over c7 or c6-01's 5MP fixed focus camera..also it gives a better web browsing experience..
I hope the speaker of c7 or c6-01 is louder than that of wave's..
If u cud advise me over this..i guess m choice will boil down to either C6-01 and C7(based on the screen size)or wave II.

and then i apply the 'auto correct' effect on 'microsoft picture manager'.. : P
