Hey one more question suppose i use evrything which u described not to use... moreI once spent a day listening to music while doing wifi browsing and/or playing games on my C7 for about 4 hours, installing multiple apps and playing with the phone for the rest of the time ie display was on all the time..battery was down to two bars by 10 hours after charging..thats one extreme, but at the other end, with "normal" use I get about 36 hours between charges.. I think its safe to say you would get about 24 hours of semi-intense use, and thats good.

It felt good when you said the interface is butter smoot... moreAnother thing which may interest you is that many Symbian 1 apps work fine with the C7, although I've not had that luck with a few others. Some still retain the "double tap" behaviour of S1. Java games of less tham 640 x 360 resolution opens in a vitual screen with extra touch buttons, but they're difficult to play if they werent designed for touchscreen (such as my old N82 java games), however the touch java games particularly 640 x 360 works like a dream. I didnt have any luck installing the virtual keyboard app thats available for the N97 though to help gameplay with non touch phones :( In my experience, apps compatible with the 5233/ C5-03 seem to work well without a hitch.

It felt good when you said the interface is butter smoot... moreActaully my last "everday" phone was an N82..I also have a N900, a Galaxy and an Ipod Touch 4 (not iphone) all of which i mostly play with for the OS experience..I got the C7 mainly for its sat nav thinking I'll hand it to my wife in a few months to upgrade her phone, but quite frankly its been my everyday phone for the last two months now lol..
About gaming, I've tried most of the HD games available except Avatar HD and all work pretty well,no lags or jerky frame rates. Havent checked the frame rate though, I'm not a hard core gamer :)
The interface is smooth, although you should know that some things are a little different from other OS's..for example on the home screen, the screen will scroll a second after you swipe it, and not with your movement as in android or maemo. Its just the way its designed and not a lag. Rumour has it nokia will change that in a future upgrade. I've installed over 150 games, themes and apps and still dont experience any lag. The kinetic scrolling in menus is very good. Folders take a second to open up, esp if you have a lot of apps in them, thats the only lag I've experienced. Even with all the apps installed, the application manager fires up in just a few seconds.
I made my USB cable with the standard USB nokia cable with a micro usb at one end and std usb on the other end (both male) and attached a standard female to female usb connector at the other end, to which i attach the usb disk.
Yes i suppose SSD's should work, but I havent tried it..the largest flash i tried was a 16 GB which worked just fine.
This is a good mid range phone in my opinion..I dont compare the OS experience with my other phones, cos all phones have pros and cons but I am happy with the C7 so far.

I haven't yet got C7. Thinking to buy one some time later. I have a symbian^1 device now. Did you upgrade to symbian^3. Is their any lags in the menu if you get it populated with lots of apps.
And how did you make yourself a USB OTG adapter. Teach me.
Actually .m4v format is supported in my S^1 too. Although restricted to 480p.
And how is gaming. What games have not played till now. Whats the biggest game for S^3. Do all of em run in more than 24fps.
I guess external SSDs should run. But ironically, a 120Gb of it will cost twice the device's.

Try to charge your battery when it has about one to two bars left and then charge it to full.. that gives me 36 hours between charges but this is less important for battery life of new Li-ion batteries than with earlier batteries, but I guess it will help battery longevity too.

AnonD-2816, 02 Mar 2011hii everyone.. i want to know about the battery performance of c7... and also like to know how... moreI get about 36 hours between full charges, but wifi, video watching and game playing takes up a lot of battery, so does indoor photography with LED flash and also 3G for some reason..you can save ur battery by using GSM instead of 3G, limiting wifi/GPRS/3G to only when required and disabling theme animations and the screen saver. Using a light theme and turning down ur screen brightness and setting display off to less than 10 seconds also helps. There is a power saving option that you can activate by touching the battery icon on the upper right corner.. it incorporates multiple power savers like what I've described in one touch. It helps to some extent also.

i just found out and noticed just today that my photo gallery is somewhat blurry...
when i'm trying to browse the photos it's pixelated eventhough the pictures are alright and clear before...
before when i'm scrolling the photos it's ok..but now it appears pixelated...and when i open the photo it's also pixelated...help me...how can i solve this problem?...should i bring this to nokia care?....help me please...and when i try taking pictures the preview display is ok and smooth but when i'm trying to view the picture fron photo gallery (PHOTOS) it is pixelated..help me solve this please...
