rab, 12 Feb 2011i envy you i bought mine 10 days ago and its still restarting. could anyone tell me what to do?same as my c7 always restarting...why?....what happen to this phone...i just bought it yesterday....

hi evry1, wat wil happen 2 symbian p.r 2.0 or 3.0 nokia promised us after dis microsoft contract. I lv nokia but i dont like microsoft mobile.

My problem is I don'... moreGo to nokia.com and download the latest ovi suite, or if u already have, connect ur fone via USB, then click on the last tab which is sofware update.it'll then check for the updates, then u backup, update, then restore. Simple (i.e by clicking next in the interface).

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2011I Also have a slight reddish tint in the bottom screen.. barely noticeable if not using dark t... moretry to set your C7 clock to analogue and then slide lock the phone, then press the menu button..you'll see the analogue clock and the unlock button below, if half of the clock is purple, then we have the same problem (AMOLED problem).i'm not sure if this is a defect as i've read so many users sharing the same fate.it's tolerable but watching movies(even in high quality) you'll notice that dark scenes tend to be sometimes pixelated or purplish instead of gray. others, let me know if u have the same problem...thanks!

I did not pay attention at first coz i thought its usual, its only a thin red horizontal line. Still not bothered though

wow...i'm a c7 user,i'm glad that my phone is not defective and it is sleek and good looking but now that they've announced that nokia will be partenering with wp7..nokia is letting us down symbian 3 users...what will happen to us..stucked with pr 1.1 update?this thing is disappointing..

iv been using this phone for 3 months..i never had any problem wid it since.but lately iv read some threads about the purple tint, unfortunately mine has.is dis really a defect? its barely noticeable, and watching movies with dark scenes are affected.is nokia doing something about this?i just hope this doesn't get worse.anyone with the same problem?

AnonD-1353, 11 Feb 2011can someone tell me whether dec 200 manufactured c7 is from da 1st or da 2nd batch?coz da shop... moreIf you really want to buy the phone, go buy one, then use it immediately in the store, don't go outside, then update the firmware if there is available update so you could test if there's a bug, if none then you can go home, if you experience restarting problems go to your seller and demand for replacements.
