I meant the smooth scrolling and turnings is what makes the battery power whack....Noki is just too rich to be competing with the other phone manufacturers thats why it is just concentrated on supporting symbian, otherwise it will no doubt be called the king of mobile phones...and with all this disadvantages, symbian is just a little gap from catching up with the android and ios.
To be honest my only problem with symbian is that there is no tabbed browsing features...except for downloading a third party browser.

Go on haters, keep hating on the c7. Just because it is not an android phone. Okay here is the deal, all the smooth scrolls and turning in android and ios is what makes it whack....
Plus the c7 has expensive components, such as it's gorilla glass, bang!...dropped my phone like 4 times now with no scratch and no performance disturbance...can you do that to any android device or iphone? the answer is a big no!
so now leave symbian alone and get off android and iphone's tiny dick..and just wait till the n9 is out, you 1GHz fans!!!!

from your phone's camera,
1. click on options
2. then settings
3. then in the image quality, change it to 8megapixels.
Don't forget to stick to the c7, its a great phone!!!

my best advise is to reinstall the firmware. do not forget to backup before doing anything. the c7 is a great phone.

Yes it does have a digital compass...now if you are thinking of buying it, i'll say do that because I have only had this phone for a month and some weeks and Im already loving it...would like to have it for more than two years but, i will be buying a 1GHz nokia soon.

How can I get Fullscreen Viewfinder on C7 ..when I opt for High Clarity of 8MP..I don't understand why Viewfinder is not full screen for 8MP option..it is full screen only upto 6MP?...is there any 3rd party application to do it?

I have a Nokia C7 from Past 1 Month and trust me its great phone Camera is great....Music is great but just make sure you use anyother headphone not the one which you got from Nokia.................
I just have one question........ when i try to play movies on this phone it donot play audio but it plays the Video and it happens only to certain Movies???? Can any one advise how to fix this

At my home I have wier... more to solve your problem what's you need to do are.. first go "settings" at a menu,then click to "connectivity", find "settings"(rows no.5 from the top)and then click "destinations"(last rows)and then click "access point" after you click that, a boxed will pop up,click yes if you in access area or no,if you are not..after that just fill up your wiLan name..network mode..security mode type(open network or wep or 802.1x or wpa/wpa2)lastly fill up you password

HELLO FRNZ.GOOD NEWS FOR C7 USERS.
PR 1.1 UPDATE HAS FINALLY ROLL OUT.
~The C7 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.
~Remember you can update using the C7’ s OTA (Over-The-Air) feature which downloads a 6.8MB Update,
or if you prefer you can download Nokia ’ s Software Updater application to update your C7 on your windows PC.
~The Official Changelog is still unknown unfortch.
~ Apparently this one speeds things up a bit and improves general performance.
~There’ s also support for landscape in the dialler application and no doubt various bug fixes.

guys becareful if u want to buy this phone.....i advice not to but to buy this phone.....dont tempt because of features.....ur spending money means it should work na....see this link,......

if u want to spend for a money only for a week or month u can buy....because this phone costs only to see not to work with it...eventhough if u send the dead phone to nokia they wont respond....so my advice is not to buy this phone.....if u want to risk and u want to waste money u can buy those are special cases.

I have been using this phone from past 1 week... the device has impressed me alot. Alot of efforts have been made in all aspects and the results are good.
Battery life is good... UI is good Camera is great but 1 cannot compare it with a professional camera or a 12mpixel like the n8.I will surely call it as a younger brother of n8 as it has all its necessary features except few... Great phone way to go NOKIA!!

I have this phone for a week, and it's excellent. Battery is better than any expectation, it lasts for a long time. I was thinking to buy N8, but I see that 8mp camera is great - it has great flash for night recording - I was recording a party in the complete dark, and HD is almost as good as i was recording at day! (N8 does not offer night recording light)
