Myster109, 23 Jan 2011Unable to use the phone functions when it is under charging. are you using the supplied charger or another charger...one time, with my c7, i had to borrow a friend's charger (for other nokia model). i couldn't use it while charging.. but when i got home and charged it with the supplied charger, i can use it again... hope this helps.

Hi everybody.
I would like to thank this site and the people who are working hard behind it in order for us to get information.
I would like to share my experiance with C7
it was really dissapointed with phone
i bought it in Saudi and returned it back , i had to sell it with big loss about 135$.
The reason is the camera has no AUTO FOCUS
to me this phone is big failure because i need to capture documents pics in my job and i can not use this phone .
i am so sorry but i hate this phone and i hate Nokia
so stupid to intoduce new high profile models with fixed focus camera

When you get USB on the Go and can use you phone without a 1GHZ cpu and 512 ram and be left with liek 20hr battery-life, come back.
The UI looks dated but 100m+ users have s60 so will find this familiar.

This C7 is poor man's N8. I'll rather wait until I become rich. I'll prefer something which is better.

Nice looking hanset but the innards are not fit for market. It must be a beta version as it is a disaster to use. Nokia's software is about 3 years behind android. It will make and receive phone calls reasonably efficiently, occasionally receives emails and texts but difficult to write and send them. Connection through to internet is very unpredicatble either by Wi-Fi or mobile network. The user interface is apalingly opaque and slow to use, so difficult to navigate. It crashes often. Ovi apps are limited, poor quality and expensive compared to android. I have had this for 2 weeks now and am seriously struggling with it. Sadly it will be put in the cupboard until someone puts out some working software for it (in the meantime I will go back to my trusty old G1 which while not perfect is streeets ahead of this thing). On top of all this the user manual is completely inadequate - who do they think they are kidding. If you are thinking of buying one of these, do yourself a favour and get something else that is ready for market and that works.

I am facing an issue , I hope u will have solution for this.
Initially I was able to access my Gmail and Yahoo mail thru push mail (nokia messaging), though syncing up was not fast, I was able to access it.
But after a few days it has stopped syncing and even manual synchronization is not helping. So i have deleted all mailboxes and trying to reconfigure.
But now when I am trying to re-configure my gmail and ovi mail account with this handset and getting error message as "service temporarily unavailable. Try again later".
my internet and other web services are working fine. Airtel is the service provider.
Also I wud like to know if anyone in India, facing same issue?

Not needing to turn off the fone, I just wait for a few secs in the current web page before start browsing again

[deleted post]To delete a theme go to menu_setting_application manager then look for the theme file n uninstall it from there
