Nokia C7 - user opinions and reviews

i did some research & deside 2 get a Samsung Galaxy S II 4 the following reasons:
- usb on the go
- games
- DivX/XviD
i don't own a computer that why its easy 4 me 2 get music/movies on a memory stick & on 2 my fone via usb on the go.
Ashman is there other android fones that also support these functions except the samsung galaxy s3 becoz it is 2 expensive

I run Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail and Ovi mail on my phone and it's ok. Does not freeze like your phone. No problems so far. Why dont you factory reset after the fresh update... and then restart the phone and see.

I have how hard reset my Nokia C7, 4 times since I updated to Belle Refresh, completely from scratch. I am facing major problems. The slow downs are so bad that until Nokia can fix these issues I am going to have to buy another phone. When a person calls whilst it is stuck in the email receiving mode, I can't answer and the phone becomes completely unresponsive. Basically Nokia is losing credibility as both my friends and family have witnessed these issues with my phone.

It happened accidently when it froze while I was trying to upgrade the firmware via Phoenix... and I had to try desperate measures to save the phone from death.

To all that have updated their Nokia C7 to Belle Refresh does anyone experience the same immense slow downs when the phone is checking and updating email and social. I know that perhaps many people have been able to get Belle Refresh yet but for those who have if anyone has a solution on how I can fix or at least temporarily fix these issues I would appreciate it very much. As this is really frustrating me. Thanks

Guys!!! I almost had a heart-attack today... I was trying to change the firmware to a Euro model and was in the process... when suddenly there was a problem and the update would not proceed. I had to restart and also restart the phone.... But the phone would not restart. Navifirm... Phoenix and all that was there.
Tried and tried and tried .... success came late in the day when I was really tired and had almost given up... and I had to resort to the same old firmware. Belle ofcourse - HK varient model at the moment. I guess I learned a lot today,... also learnt not to fool around too much.

c7jack, 08 Nov 2012do it on phoenix much better. Hope this can help,Thanks bro C7jack for your reply... I have been trying from Phoenix... specially today, I have spent almost half the day trying to do just that... cant seem to download the right files of the new firmware.... some error or other occurs. It's becoming a bit frustrating. Let me try some more before giving up.

Muz, 02 Nov 2012I have used the phone from May 2011 - 2 Nov 2012(Today). One problem developed in the phone -... more@Muz... Dude most of the time when we ave browsing or using net over phone it shows not reachable to callers. This is my experience that's why i started using another phone for calling. Hope it will be useful.

My phone is working good... no problems so far... Just that it is a HongKong model and a few things like the FM Transmitter is not activated. I guess I should try to hack the phone to use a different (maybe Australian) firmware... that should free-up the apps and allow me to fully upgrade to Belle Refresh. Well I have most of the Belle Refresh apps, but that little restriction has not allowed me to fully upgrade to Belle Refresh.
Advise me guys... should I go ahead???
Should I use Navifirm and Phoenix or just Phoenix? A bit of guidance would be great. Cheers!!!
