Got an update to Social today... about 3.5MB. installed via Nokia Suite. Said to enhance connectivity to SNS services... lets see.
Nokia has failed policies on many fronts. They have succeeded in turning Symbian from the No.1 mobile operating system in the world to the one with the fastest decline, projected to be wiped out in two more years. They pioneered Mobile OS with a lot of promise like maemo and meego only to abandon them completely after making one device. Sure, WP7 and 8 hold promise but it's not just Nokia that are going to have a monopoly on windows phone devices. The only reason I can see to still have a Nokia device today is the free voice guided navigation which is very good. And even that will not be a unique selling point once the next generation of Google maps or iOS 6 is released.
Like the rest of you,I feel sad for Nokia. But they really have dug their own grave.

All the news about Nokia's downfall.....
It's sad to see a beloved company like Nokia slide down so badly. For us, Nokia has been best known for it's simple phones (great user friendly OS). Great reliability and above all the reception quality of calls. In my opinion, Symbian still has room for great improvements and yes, they need to bump up the App count.
Sorry guys, forgot to log in with that last post and it came in as anonymous..that was me!
C7-zak, 14 Jun 2012thanx for your suggestions dude..do you have any idea about the price of Arc S.. ThanksThe arc S in India is still around 25,000/- which frankly I think is too much for it..if you can wait for the sony acro go,it looks like it may be a reasonable price and specs, though it's screen resolution seems low..would still recommend a dual core phone for android in today's world.
Mobile shops will often give you deals on slightly older models..if so see if you can find a good deal on a 1 year old model like the galaxy s2, HTC sensation/evo 3D or LG optimus 2X or 3D..if it fits into ur budget, nothing like it.

C7-zak, 14 Jun 2012Dr.Bidhan:-) I want to buy Sony Ericsson Neo V not SONY so pls suggest:-) thanks in advance dudeok buddy go for neo v....just check at ebay.in @ 13250/- INR
If you are going for an android, then please get a dual core today. Single core phones are really laggy on android and I say this from personal experience. The Xperia Neo V is a good phone, but do consider the Sola (drawback no front camera) and Xperia U (drawback no microSD slot and limited memory, but a good phone). If you can wait the Acro S sounds good but I expect will be significantly more expensive than the Xperia Neo V.
If you are considering single core droids or have a budget concern, then the Xperia Ray might be slightly cheaper than the Neo V but has a better camera but smaller screen. And the price of the Xperia Arc S has also dropped if you want to consider it, but what I would tell you to do is to go for a dual-core phone so you can atleast use it for a year or two from now. Sony Xperia Sola and U are the cheapest dual core phones available now.
One major issue with all android phones is their pathetic battery life. If you use them for anything but calls, expect to charge the phone by evening. And this applies to all droids, the only exception is the Motorola Razr Maxx. I don't know of a single person owning an android phone who doesn't have a battery saving app installed. I find it really silly, coming from what I consider is the reasonable battery life of the C7 (charging once in 24-36 hours). Just so you know..Good Luck!!

Design point of view, Sola has a plastic body and might be prone to damages when dropped. But Sola comes with 8 GB storage.
Neo V, I am sure has a better build quality and is also cheaper of the two. It also has a secondary camera. But is the thicker one among the two.
I personally might have gone for Neo V. The choice is entirely up to you bro.
[deleted post]Dear Ashman:-) sola is also good But i Didnt like its design and its almost same features in both only diff is sola has floating touch and its not having front camera also:-) what do you say. Waiting for your valuable reply SOON
