Hey folks... I got an update today... It read something like Stability or Quality Improvement 1. Small update, installed in seconds... I hope it does what it promised to do ... Stability & Quality Improvement.
Though I secretly hope FP1 will be thrown our way too. Cheers!!!

Well, that's life. Once upon a time, Nokia was king... now it's facing troubled times... and more and more people are turning away and going in different directions.
Let's hope a couple of good decisions on their part will keep them in business. If you look at the news, anything new is for IPhone or Android only and Symbian barely gets app updates... So, it feels kind of bad to see that so many users get sidelined just because they are using Nokia products. Well, there are a lot of Nokia users in the world right?
Buy, I guess the Americans with their great marketing expertise will only allow American companies to flourish with their American OS and American software. Anyway, Cheers!!!

I just have to say that the GPU (Brodcom 2727) is not exactly inferior... remember it can shoot 12MP photos (Nokia N8) and 720P videos at 30 FPS. Also play HD Games and watch HD Movies. ... True, comparatively it might appear weaker against the new generation mobile GPUs, but... it can do the things and do it quite well at that.... RIGHT!!!

Bu... moreUr right, Ashman bro..I have phones running all of today's popular OS's and yet I use the C7 as my primary phone cos it does everything I need on a daily basis, coupled with its unrivalled call quality. I use the other phones for other purposes, for example the iphone for gaming and the android for web browsing and apps, but I carry the C7 with me everywhere.
Just to put things into perspective, my 680 Mhz C7 with its BroadCom GPU matches my 1.2 GHz dual core running HTC Evo 3D with its Adreno 220 GPU, both can do 720p video recording (Max) and playback..but look how efficiently the C7 handles it with about a quarter of the CPU power of the Evo 3D and an inferior GPU.

But I guess... it's just human nature and competition is good for human progress... so the companies are busy pushing their flag-ship phones and making it more and more powerful and capable with more RAM, more CPU and GPU power to give desktop like experiences and superior screen display both in terms of technology, resolution and screen size. On the software side too... fierce competition is on. We just have to wait and see where the humble phone is going...
I know, things look exciting ahead... and we wont have to wait long.
at the moment... I love my C7 and it serves me well and more than meets my needs. Cheers!!!

Sampras, 23 Apr 2012help !!! my c7 will not show me my contact lists and i have stored my contacts both on my pho... moreSampras bro... if you save the same contact list in the phone memory and sim card, the contacts will not show. Double entry will only confuse the phone. Delete one set and see. The contact will not show upon the phone ringing. Delete all double entries and check. Cheers!!!

With some internet connection n social network online, play hd game n old school game snes n gba sometime, browse pic n video wt tv out everytimes, use fm transmitter music in car, hv nokia map gps, watch movie with usb otg, nfc, also hv 8mp with flash n front cam, clear voice call. What else?

dhaval , 23 Apr 2012i am having nokia c7 from 1 year now. it was shipped with symbian^3 and i was happy using it t... moredhaval, while the C7 does not have an overclocked CPU and is definitely not the fastest mobile phone around... the speed is not too slow either... I suggest you save your files, format the drive E: Mass memory and reinstall Belle all over again (completely as instructed). Then see the performance and comment. Good Luck and Cheers!!!

i love the perfomance of my cell some time it hang but as soon as i upgraded to belle it is working perfect

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2012how can i make video cl on skype..i am not getin the option of video cl ??There s not yet any option for making video call in skype in C7. Only iphone got that option now as far as i know. That too only through wifi i guess.

i am having nokia c7 from 1 year now. it was shipped with symbian^3 and i was happy using it then came anna update and it also worked smooth like a charm, then came nokia belle and boom there goes my mobile in a dustbin after updating to belle. it has gone tooo slow even nokia 1100 would be better responding than this .. disappointed :( they should give a overclocking update like the one coming for nokia 700 ( from 1 ghz this update will overclock the speed to 1.3 ghz )
