i hv also told that only captured videos r there in gallery nw...n trasfered videos are only in videos..while in anna captured as well as transferd videos wr in videos as well as gallery........
anyway im just enjoying the belle nw its superb......

The problem seems to affect .flv files over 30MB..nokia seems to be working on a fix. Any idea about SIP and VPN support in Belle? The option to map remote drives which was present in Anna has been removed i guess..

1. There are is folder inside folder structure available in the Belle update I have tried and using it myself.
2. I didn’t understand the sentence that there are no videos in the Gallery. I can see and play Videos in the Gallery which are captured by C7 at least. However the videos which I have transferred from my Computer are available in the Folder called Videos.
3. The .flv files can be played through File manager or Explorer.

update the OS info from "Symbian^3 OS, upgradable to Symbian Anna OS" to "Symbian^3 OS, upgradable to Symbian Belle OS"

GadgetLover, 19 Feb 2012John, do you remember getting back any of your apps that were on C: after the update either in... morethe default web browser is now very good, its easy to open tabs and the on screen editing is OS wide.
I didn't install any apps on my C drive but all the defa apps were automaticall installed.
Maybe C7zak woul be able to convince you to update

what i really want to know is, how is the default web browser on Belle? Cos the one on Anna is pretty bad..its the one thing i want to change..any real improvements?

AnonD-22351, 19 Feb 2012Thanx GadgetLover....i must be because i spent my whole one month salry for my C7 dude.. and ... morerestore the backup after update dear....ofcoz downloading requires internet connection....and aftr download install it on ur c7 n during installation dont disconnect ur device thats all yaar...

but well here are my points;
ur have to connect ur device to ur PC to see the update.
the update process affects only ur C drive and this would be backed up and restored while updating.
After all is done u can now restore again with the separate back up u made.

I think u didnt get me dear, i already backed up my data in ovi suite and formatted my E drive,presently nothing is there on E drive and memory card im not putting in device while updating. So im asking you is it compulsory to RESTORE because i think it will check for apps compatibility while updating...pls pls suggest me SOON, thanx in advance

Nokia suite will make a backup of your C: drive and restore it once the update is done. You can restore E: drive after the update if necessary.

The update only begins when the entire update file is downloaded, and it can resume where left off if the Internet connection is interrupted. So, no worries! :)
Must say C7-zak, you're being very careful before updating so that nothing goes wrong!! Nice!!

i updated my c7 via my laptop...the file is downlaoded in laptop first, bcoz i downloaded 1day only 68mb and rest after 5days...then i installed it in my C7, which took abt 15min
then i updated my wife's C7 which also took another 15mins....that means nw the belle update file is present in my laptop n i can update other C7s within minutes
