The phone is pretty good, however the font size is so small, I cannot see without my glasses on. Also it freezes after a call sometimes
I have this one, made in Finland. It's very good for me.
Form: very nice for gentlemen.
Camera, Music player, Email, Office applications: good.
I love it.
But I am not sure, if it made in China.

would say this is one of the best Nokia's for it's value. However,I am one of those who always is looking for something new. After 4 months of using it I have discovered a few things that Nokia should avoid.
1.The keyboard is really nice ecxept "C" and "answer" buttons. They are very hard to push with the finger. So I had to use my nail.
2.Nokia software is slowing down my PC all the time I connect the phone to it.
3.When I am having a conversation via phone a talker seems to be beyond a metal wall(I have read a few reviews about that, it means this is real problem).
4.For some reason Nokia engineers "missed" a Auto keypad lock key!!!!! There is a security option to lock the whole phone by entering 5 digits security code. But this is diferent from auto keypad lock.
5.It has a 233 Mhz processor but it is still slow.Even my old 6230 worked even faster without any engine!
Nokia E50 Was the biggest mistake.....
It freezes every single day and is extremely SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My first true business phone, keeping in mind the 6020 is more of a transit kinda busphone, and one I'm very fond of. Solid and well-equipped, it proves Nokia's ingenuity and non-compromising attitude in a fast-changing mobile world.
Once u get used to handle this baby, you ken get on a roll with it as easy as bicycling.
This is very important as the E50 had a reputation in Belgium of being rather disappointing.
Whatever may be meant with it, the only downside I found was the slow interface. It tends to keep hanging when being in between.
Am one nokia fan and have been using them since the beginning. I have been using this phone since nov 07. It is a good one but the phone has a problem when you try to move from one menu to other. It hangs and sometimes it just stays that way for a while. Of late even it hangs while sending msgs or trying to scroll from contacts, etc Anyone faced such problems.
i´m confused, because i don´t know were is better: e50 or e62, i want a god editor for txt files, but i want a fast editor, please reply with opinions and sorry for the horrible english.
For all E50's user, U can maximize your phone with application, u go to www.series60v3.com or www.dotsis.com u can get app like theme diy, officesuite 4(can edit n make word n excel),transtool, photorite sp,adobe 2.5,camera fx,n much more. Anyone knows software to upgrade firmware?please tell me,thanx for all E50's user
I can't get caller ID to work unless the number is in the mobile slot. Nokia says there is no work around, does anyone know of one? Also does anyone know where to find a key of all the symbols? The manual nor Nokia site have them listed.
I got this phone on 2nd hand and still using (since 1 year) and this phone fallen many times from my hand but........its still working.. very good shape & solid metal body
i haven't experienced this problem with my e50 but you can try saving your contact #'s to the phone-memory and use it as a default.. hope it works :)
any1 has problen that phone doesnt display the name of incoming number? i have contact in phone book and no double entries. have them all copied to sim card.
Fantastic,,typical nokia and slim as hell yet it just looks quite ordinary,,then you look at specs and its a powerhouse of a fone
