To kaykay,

don't you have a nokia care center in your country? if you don't there should be a dealer in your country. take it to the dealer and get it done. its no big deal. :-) you can get it done from any mobile repair center as well. but make sure they are professionals... :-)

To Shivang,

well the original firmware which comes with the phone when you're buying the phone is the best for you to use. even if you update the firmware sometimes you might experience longer battery life and the green tint in the camera will disappear. but if there is nothing wrong with your phone like restarting, short battery life, the green tint on the camera, or getting stuck for no obvious reason don't update your firmware.

Nokia release those updates for people who has problems with their phones firmware. to be more precise to fix the bugs in the firmware (if there are any).

so my advice to you is, if you don't have any problems with your phones firmware, use the original one which came with your phone.

To kaykay,

you mean under your screen is it? give it to the service centre and get it cleaned. i don't recommend to do it yourself. when you buy any phone normally most sellers give offers like free pouch, extra battery etc OR 4 - 6 free services!!! if you're lucky enough to get those free services don't miss them. it helps a lot to keep your phone healthy.

besides its better if you can service your phone at least once in 4 months.

To adawy,

there are certain limitations when using the camera. there is no option to turn off the camera sounds.

To PHH,

how come you don't have the exit option? when you're done surfing press options and in that list you will find a command called "EXIT". not only on E51 but all GPRS/internet enabled phones have this option.

Hi Walid/Wimura,

Just want to know how do I exit from the network after I go on web surfing using network service. I can't seem to find the exit command and not sure if the phone is still linked to network web services once I exit from the programme.

PHH.

A slender, tender and fully functional business phone, fully packed and stacked.

I got this phone from my sister and I was taken in by it almost immediatly! Wlan, Wifi,agenda...In all a Business Smartphone like never before.
Although the E65 has a nicer design, not just because it's a slider (quite rare for Nokia when taken all models in account) but the E51 costs less and has more features, coupled to a looooooong life span of the battery.
Cam should be better though, but is more optional than imperative for a phone this well-equipped.

To sam,

well i'm not sure about the E60 mate. but it looks like its solidly built. but the build quatily of the E51 is brilliant. with my personal experience with the E51 all i can say is that this is a stonking good phone!

To iftekhar ,

you get the same camera as you get in the N81. the difference is in the N81 you get to shot pictures in landscape mode like in a digital camera. but in the E51 you cannot do so. that is the only difference.

Every time I switch off the phone, I keep getting a message "application closed kernel etc." It takes about 2 weeks time to get back to normal, don't know how and why; furthermore some applications I have saved on the memory stick do not show in the list and can't erase them, really strange. Wondering if someone has faced the same problem and how it was fixed. Thanks
