the vendor who sold me in bbsr told me that e51 is blsckberry enabled, which is wrong
and cant this support HSCDA or w.e it is meaning it can take on like an 8 gb memory card?
The speed on this phone is the best in s60, thats for sure. Battery is ehh it could be a little bit better but then again its a really thin phone. Everything else is amazing :)
Really this is a good phone, supports up to 4 GB micro SD, have Hsdpa ,Edge class 32, Gprs class 32,WiFi , Bluetooth.,FM radio, the phones have many features, speed is good, I am using about 1 week. Everything is good, Gmail works fine, and I love this phone. Thanks.
i got this phone it is good but specker volum is low and battery is also not up to the mark .i think nokia should improve on battery and it specker volume. the rest is good .it that case sony erisson is is best.
Great phone, got it yesterday from a local store, with taxes and all it came to US$340. setting WLAN was a no brainer and finally finished the packet radio configuration with AT&T, next step is to set it to with CallManager to make it an extension of my office desk phone. Couple of things though. Does anybody hears a high frequency noise when the screen lights up? and how can I disable the keypad autolock feature?
does anyone knows if there is an software update for this phone?
mine is v100.34.20

Well when every my phone steps out of connection due to unavailability and when it comes in a zone where network is on other phones. This phone doesn't seem to be working. I have to re-start the phone (Manual searching also doesnt work here)
I own this phone since 2 months now .
I saw some comments until now and makes me smile.
The phone is bussiness oriented , so don't search flash camera , second video call camera - if you really need to be seen , just turn the main camera to you .
The stainless steel case is very strong-no scratches at all and I dropped it twice.Nothing to do with cheap/weak plastic phones.
You can see pictures in full screen.
The screen is very bright and very sharp.
You can increase the font size .
You can disable the camera sound - just choose the "silent" mode in profiles.
The MP3 player is great - very good sound, you can see even the art album .
It is very fast compared to other smartphones - PDF and PPS/PPT files and/or attachements are opened in just one-two seconds.
Very big internal memory (130 mb user memory and 96 mb sdram ).
Support for microsd (transflash)hot swap - the only cons you have to open the back cover.
Another cons -you cannot charge the battery using the embedded mini-usb connector .
Good battery life - just put the phone in GSM mode (and not UMTS/dual) mode , if you are not using data services .
The battery will last for one week , without using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (these are draining faster your battery).
Browsing internet in the airport , checking your e-mails (pop3 , imap )makes it one of the best bussiness phones .
The price and the small factor are very important , you have no another option on the market in this moment.
If I would buy again the same phone ? Yes !
Hey! i want to buy E51 and i have some questions:
1)How loud is E51's speaker compared to other phones?(like 6233 and so on)
2)is screen scratch proof?
This phone is simply great. A simplified symbian. Connectivity is superb. Keypad/ phone ergonomics is easy on the hand, though the spacing in between keypads are quite loose. I only wish it had a front camera for video calling. But overall, it's a must have phone. The black one looks tech savvy and sexy, reminds me of.. (eugene:) He's my crush!
no this does not cost more that the n95 haha if your lucky enough u can find this for under 300

"Long press button #, that should put the phone to a profile called Silent (which you can customized)... i have no problem with this. if yr phone has a problem, suggest that you take it back. in fact, this feature is present in almost all nokia phone, including my old series 40 phone, nvr had a problem. sorry for you, tho."
In my phone the lon prees of the # key leads to "Change outgoing phone line ?" Can this be changed thru Settings ??
