Somebody called Nokia the other day... 1980. He wants his cell phone back!
No camera.... Oh my!! Two words... "Back" "Wards".
if there no people working in the security area, doing security work that can protect the country and citizen's homes, do you think you can use phones with camera, relax walking on the street taking photos. See those country that citizen carry guns while walking on the street.. frogs!!
Hi I'm Najem from Kuwait, in my work they allow me to carry a mobile phone with a camera, but I just don't like the idea of camera mobile phone.
I think E51 camera-free will be my next mobile phone I love the design so much.
I don't know when it will be available in the middle east, I will buy as soon as it is available, It will make me feel comfortable, finally a good mobile phone with out poor useless camera

I'm currently working at construction business. And many design company restrict a hone with camera, even on few construction site camera is not allowed. Dunno why ^^
So I must leave my e51 WITH camera at the front desk or some sort of security desk. Hmm... how can I make a call???
So I need camera free phone with tons of features. I'm a 'one gadget only' person =P
These are my review while using e51 WITH camera...
- Small keypad... With no PEN button
- Low Vibration, I missed many calls -.-
- Battery life is medium
- Using Symbian 9.2 S60 3rd with the dumbest signing innovation... Just keep signing!
- Quickest symbian I ever use!
- Great voice quality
- WiFI is great, quick to connect and stable
- NiCE and simple design
- And many!
I need to trash the camera, the camera is not that good anyway ^^
when will this phone be released. There is no info on nokia's official site. I hope i'll be able to have it asap.

Obviously the fellow is unaware that there are places where camera phones are not allow. It would be wise for him/her to think before commenting...
Please folks, how about call quality and sound/listening quality. That's what's important in a phone. I had and old Nokia phone once and I could hardly hear the person speaking. Phones had come a long way since then. That's what I'm talking about.
Please respond> Thanks
I am very pleased to see an advanced & full featured phone without camera. It is good business & executive phone.
Do you lot have nothing better to do with your time?
Want to make a phone call - use a phone.
Want to take a picture - use a camera!
What the point of having camera-free phone?...u must be one that live in a well, there are proffessionals out there that couln't use a camera phone in their work place due to security reason....don't comments for the sake of commenting!
I think it's a novel idea to have phone w/o a camera. If you want to take pictures, buy a real camera with good image quality. Huh! How about that for starters?
wat is the price between camera and camera-free? The design of this NOKIA E51 IS GREAT!!!
Not very sure with other countries but this phone is already out in Singapore. I have been using E60 before switching to this phone. Other than the smaller physical size, the speed is really one great improvement with better buttons layout. It is a must buy for those E60 user looking for similar upgrades.
this would be my second comment here. Well i heard it may not come to india but i was thinking of getting it from somewhere else. It seems its still not available i heard it will come by june end but not sure.
Can't wait for it... I wanna replace my e51 with camera into this great phone.
I don't need camera phone and I don't even like camera phone.
I just want to know when/where you can buy this - it's been 3 months since Nokia announced it! All they're doing is taking the camera out. My E60 is ok, but the memory issues and decreasing responsiveness (as the mem card gets full). This is the only option for a full-featured non-PDA/qwerty phone. I would consider pre-ordering it, but the prices are outrageous, usually $100 more than the regular E51, for a phone that is supposed to list for $100 less.
BTW, I first tried to post this from my E60, but the browser blew out when I got a phone call :(
