reply to an0nym0us. Wifi c0nnecti0n of this ph0ne depends on h0w fast your internet c0nnecti0n. Battery life is really great,nn pr0blem with that. I can br0wse the net, chat 0n nimbuzz, send an sms while listening to the radio. The s0und quality is n0t that l0ud c0mpared to SE ph0nes but it fairly makes it up f0r its user friendliness, great keyb0ard,and it d0es n0t lag. I d0n't use skype but i'm p0sitive y0u can do skype here, just d0wnl0ad nimbuzz in ovi at chat away. D0n't d0wnl0ad to0 much and be careful what to d0wnl0ad. I d0wnl0aded w0rld traveller but i uninstalled it but its imp0ssible to delete.enj0y this ph0ne.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010I think the large companies are 'dumping the same rubbish' everywhere now - US, Europe, Asia. ... moreYou have reviewed it nicely. One thing more. Could u pl tell me the price of this e52 in swiss franc (chf) without sim contract and also d price of C5 in chf. Actually one of my relative is coming from swiss to here in my country. I wish to ask him to bring one out of two. But can not ask d price. Your help give me a chance to decide whether to ask him or not.
cons:its speaker is not at all good. its internet browsing is also bad.. gps mapping is not so quick. camera has no autofocus so d clarity of photo is not so good.
pro: design looks elegant, keys r big, it doesnt slow down like other sis phones.
overall 5 out of 10
Rk, 14 Jun 2010Probably u r r8. About this model one can only that every person can not be lucky to have a fa... moreI think the large companies are 'dumping the same rubbish' everywhere now - US, Europe, Asia. What might change is that local suppliers subsequently swap-out parts secretly for lower-grade 'copy' alternatives (batteries etc) but otherwise junk in Asia is probably likewise junk in Europe
I took my E52 back for repair almost immediately so didn't get long to play with it (it might finally be sent back to me at the end of this week... if I'm lucky)
On the good side I noticed that there appeared to be incremental improvements over my E51 in many areas:
- Time visible in all applications (this was a big annoyance for me on the E51)
- Push Email from Nokia
- T9 SMS interface improved and now allows two languages for input (useful for me!)
- Editing Office Docs now possible 'out of box'
- Games and nicer wallpapers available 'out of box' (E51 was bare)
- Physically larger display was nice (though resolution is the same)
- Navigation generally seemed a bit simpler and more logical
- No hangs, lags, freezes or crashes while I was using it (but I didn't use it for long, and I almost never suffered these with the E51, either)
- free GPS etc etc bla bla bla but you know that stuff from the publicity blurb
On the bad side, contruction really is very, very feeble. The case is in fact plastic 'disguised' to look like metal (lots of internet reviews get this wrong as claim it is metal) - with the exception being the back battery cover which is metal but wafer-thin and felt very vulnerable when I removed it. The shortcut buttons feel very loose and give the impression they might sheer-off the rubber contact pad they are fixed to - this might only be an 'impression' but the rest of the phone's build is so weak I wouldn't be sure
The E52 'concept' of an ultra-thin Symbian phone with a killer battery-life is extremely appealing but unfortunately it seems to have been totally ruined by corners-cut in construction and abysmal Quality Control
In contrast the E72 seems to be much better constructed, even though the two phones appear otherwise similar (apart from the QWERTY keypad, the touchpad and the larger form-factor). It shows that Nokia can still do it when they want to, but for some reason they couldn't be bothered on the E52
is this a good phone??i need to buy a new phone but i dont know what the best phone for me...
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010Quality problems with the E52 aren't limited to Asian countries - as previously posted, I boug... moreProbably u r r8. About this model one can only that every person can not be lucky to have a faultless unit. Nokia's quality has gone down drastically in d recent few years. Every new person appointed on a decision making post plays with d quality only to show results by cutting cost. Fortunately u are in a European country still where garbage can not be dump like asian countries. This is just an example dear. Tell me some gud things u have found about ur e52 unit if possible.
