E52 fan, 13 May 2010Only grey aluminium is available here in gujarat.thanks for the confirmation.
For Those who have bought the phone in india..
Hows is the build quality of the e52 ?? How is the loud speaker's performance??
could someone please confirm if grey-aluminium color is available in india?
Nokia website doesn't mention it, but people on this forum have claimed to have got one in grey (i'd expect they bought genuine one)

plz give ur review. As u r frm india, we cn get idea of batch tht's prepared for india.
Thanx nd regards,
i just bought a E52 yesterday,
but dere is no digital compass as is written in the specs.
could any1 guide, from where could i download da same???
I bought this phone almost a week ago. I did upgrade the software version to 034 from 031. Now, my dilemma is the battery. I am just using it for SMS only since I am a text person with a few wi-fi on the side to download some applications.
I wonder why my battery only last for 2-3 days not even heavy usage?
1.I lower the volume to save battery.
2.I am using GSM not 3g network to save battery.
3.Power Saver is activated.
4.Bluetooth is off.
5.I make sure no application is open or running.
5.I did charge it initially according to phones manual specification.
6.Vibrator is off.
7. Plainly use it for SMS really and calls.
Terrible build-quality and QC. My advice is don't buy this: if you do then you're basically playing roulette on whether you get a good one
I was pretty happy with my E51 and so bought an E52 today: a 'Made in Finland' version bought in Switzerland running firmware 033.002 (custom version listed as dated 12 March 2010). In terms of functionality it's certainly an improvement on the E51 (useful improvements in ergonomics - particularly in messaging and a nice screen which is reasonably visible in daylight), but the build is very poor
Ignore the supposed 'reviews' - the exterior is actually plastic (*NOT* metal), with the exepction of the battery cover which seems to be a wafer-thin piece of textured steel and it feels very, very weak
The down-button on the D-pad of mine doesn't click and is difficult to press so I took it back after a few hours (the sample one in the shop was fine in this respect) and, of course, the result is that it will have to be sent away for several weeks (no replacement) while the wretched thing gets repaired - even though it arrived in that state in the box
My E51 was/is very solid. I think the all-platic Samsung 1100 I bought on prepay for 5 GB pounds during a trip to the UK at christmas has *much* better build quality than this E52. I don't understand why Nokia should build a supposedly 'premium' phone so poorly and operate such lax quality control (nor do I understand why so many internet reviews claim it is 'well' constructed). I guess the 'trolls' might have a point and Nokia has indeed lost the plot...
E52 fan, 12 May 2010Hi rohit, plz give us comprehensive review of e52. Hw u feel abt battery, wi-fi, stability ... moreThe phone is great. Battery lasts 7 days if you don't use 3g, wifi and games. 10 days if you turn it off at night. Quality is great. It's the fastest symbian device I have ever had. Wifi works great. The browser is not so good. Opera mini is the best on the market. You can even watch youtube with the phone. It has push email. It is the most perfect Nokia on the market. I believe there are other Nokias like it, but none are better. Camera is so so, but then again, who careas about the camera on the phone. The GPS is perfect. I have a Garmin nuvi device and the only difference is the bigger screen on the garmin device. Just a great phone. You won't regret buying it.

Hi Rohit , from wch part of Delhi u bot E52 n howz ur experience so far , i hav got nokia 5700 , htc Viva and apple touch 32gb . i had series 60 3rd edition be4 n i m quite expert in it had done many experiments with it .i m Gujarat 1st gprs user )) i live in Ragouri.
Just now I see E52. E52 is not solid as E51.Instead of aluminum they go for stainless steel like E51.E52 is very thin, light weight but broader than E51.Soft key , Call key, home key and del key are very small and little hard to use.Numeric keys are very bigger than E51.
Black color is not good as metal gray. But in india metal gray is not available. So i go for Golden Aluminium.
