Hi everyone. I wanted to ask for help. The problem that other users said about this phone made me a bit worry. This phone is one of my options for purchasing a cellphone. But having an unclear screen and not a good camera is something you should think about first. I want to know how much they are let's say bad? Thank you.

AB, 07 Jan 2010Hi guys, can 3,5mm jack on this phone connect to a speaker ex: simbadda cst-8000?? i believe the straight forward answer is yes, depends on how well your speaker set can boost the signals though.
one clever thing about the e52 (or other nokia?) is that when u plug in ur earphone without mic, the phone mic will automatically be selected instead, which means u can pick up phone calls with the mic on the phone, and any earphones that u r using for music. no dedicated hands-free kit is required.

here is a little app, a compass, for those who ask about the compass in the E52... http://www.newlc.com/files/Compass_s60_v1.0.02.sisx

WK, 06 Jan 2010if to upgrade the phone's firmware, would the phone lost it's existing settings / configurations? To WK:
If you upgrade your phone's firmware you will lose everything!!!
Backup your phone memory to memory card OR backup to PC using Nokia PC Suite.
I normally back up to both areas just to be on the safe side.
solid snake, 06 Jan 2010Dear All,
im from Pakistan, and i want to share something with you guys.i had the phone for ... moreTo SOLID SNAKE:
If your phone is working perfectly I suggest to stick to the original firmware. Sometimes upgrading can introduce new bugs.
If you are really curious to see what type of improvements the new firmware will bring go ahead but if you are comfortable at the moment and want to remain that way then stick to your original firmware.
I have an E51 and the latest firmware introduced a very annoying bug...when my phone rings and I answer it SOMETIMES it hangs up and the only solution is to either pull out the battery or wait until the phone automatically restarts. Just something I thought I would share with you.
Forgot to say I think the people who are having all the hangs and restarts are not closing things after using them and they end up with loads of stuff running and background and it crashes the phone. Everything you do stays running once you open it and unless you go to options and exit it then it just stays open. Simply pressing the back key or going to Home doesnt close them. This includes common things like contacts, messaging, calling and pretty much everything you do on the phone.
So far I like many things about the phone like battery life, small size and weight, lots of features. Main negative is a very complicated OS with lots of button presses needed to do anything and then you have to press a few more to shut anything off or it just stays running taking up resources. I would like to see more options to simplify things but I accept this complication to get the good parts.
