Just have the phone for 2 weeks now. Never regret that i change my SE W960i to this phone. eventhough the SE W960i has a better camera and speaker but the nokia E52 are better in performance! with the 600MHZ processor it is really smooth and did not hang at all while u r opening any applications. the battery life is superb. can last up to 5 days if u r not using so your phone frequently. the speaker is soft but the vibration is good. camera is stll ok to me because i rarely use it also. the best part is even when i'm using my 16GB card also there is no problem like hang or take a long time to scan the picture or music. then the video extra features is u can on the flashlight to take video in a dark environment. for me it's really worth of money buying this phone.
Just for your information the nokia E52 are available in Malaysia and the price is RM1399. Cheers!
The E72 is the true E series business phone from Nokia, kinda like the bestseller E71. That's why it's taking a bit longer for it to be released. The 1 month difference from the E52/E55 allows Nokia not only to price it accordingly but also to implement firmware fixes that were discovered with the E52/E55 "guinea pigs"
Does anybody know if one will be able to use the Ovidd store with this phone?
Good phone. It's affordable and very, very usable with strogn features rather than gimmicks. The camera is good, as is the video functionality. Sound quality good, office applications up to the usual standard. My only compliants? Minor ones. The white lettering on the keypad can be hard to see in low light conditions up against the grey of the phone; the zoom button is hard to find when you're reviewing your photos; and you have to keep actively connecting to the internet when you want to view certain fetaures, rather than it simply being on as in my HTC phone (although that probbaly helps extend the Nokia's already-excellent battery life); and the slot to put a carry cord (not that one is supplied) is so tiny as to be almost unusable. That aside, it's an excellent, affordable smarphone that does everything as well as (if not better) than flashier, more expensive devices.
I have had my E52 for 2 weeks. I am having a problem with it, like many other E52s that my friends have.
When in a call, all of a sudden, the person am talking to barely can hear me then a minute later the sound is back then a few minutes later it goes again.
Took it to Nokia they said it will be solved with a Frimware update but thats still not available...
Is there a reason that VGA recording is only 15 fps?
600 MHz ARM 11 CPU and 128 MB RAM seem pretty enough to record VGA video at 25 fps?!?

Enkay, 30 Aug 2009I have this great looking slim fone. I have uploaded the contacts from my SE750i via PC Suite-... moreI faced the same problem while backing up contacts to memory card. It copies only a few in my case, 205 exactly though i hav more than 500. Its probably a bug. It is also discussed in nokia discussions. Check it out.
My friends I am still yet to get the E52.
The store which was supposed to get it last Thursday (August 20th) may not get it until this Thursday (September 3rd). There's nothing I can do but wait.
As soon as the phone touches my hand I will inform you all right away.
anyone experience problems when viewing gallery pictures in vertical position (portrait)? This happens then the orientation sensor is "enabled".
Sometimes its ok, sometimes the picture is blurred.
However in landscape mode, (sensor is disabled), gallery works flawlessly.
i agree. the speaker is way too soft. you cant hear any phone conversation unless you hold the speaker right next to your ear.
the cover is a bit loose. it doesnt fit properly as you can see the lights through the number pad.
camera isnt great but who needs it.
the battery is simply amazing tho.
over all i still think its an excellent buy. value for money.
