*cough, 14 Aug 2009Lithium-Ion Polymer ;)Read this entry and you know why it's essential that you use the supplied charger with mobiles using Li-Po batteries!!!
I have been using it for 2 weeks. My first one restarted by itself and kept losing my business theme (installed on the memory card). This was traced to a loose SD card in the phone. Got a new phone and no problems since. So far, I have found that it doesn't work well with Garmin Mobile XT and the app keeps shutting down. GSM reception is also rather poor when compared to the 6210 and E51. GPS lock on is fast as I use assisted GPS. Fast interface.
If you are thinking of buying one, I would wait for one or more firmware updates before buying.
Anyone who can tell me whether the e52 has an option to use its flash as a video light? The 5630 has this option so im wondering whether the e52 has it too..
Anyone who can answer?
I have a Nokia e51 which i managed to install the blackberry software on, now i want to know if the same is possible with e52 and if anyone has the instructions for it, Regards, email@example.com
Hi everyone, I've been using a real E52 for a couple of hours now (the build quality is excellent and it has a really good keypad).
The gsmarena review said you could customise the D-pad keys (up to music etc), can someone tell me how to do this?
velove_luna, 14 Aug 2009in the spec of E52, the battery is Li-Ion. but in pics gallery, the batt is Li-Po ??? :O :OLi-Po
Nokia have now managed to instal a mini nuclear reactor within the battery, hence the huge standby/talk time life of the E52.
What will those Fin's think of next!?

Fantastic. Been using for 2 weeks and so far so good. Battery life time are long enough for a heavy users (approximately 3 days for heavy users in sms in power saving mode). Slim and sleek. Keypad very light and perfect for sms. BUT, the ringing volume are very very slow although in high volume. On call volume are fine (clear enough in a noisy place). Somehow this phone will auto restart once in a while. I guess is the firmware need to be upgrade. Anyway, superb device.
Whats better the E52 or E55, I want too buy one, please help me out. Thanx
I wan but this device in Graphite Grey but its not yet on the market too.
Metal Gery is nice too but Graphite Grey looks etter in my opinion.
In Germany it isnt yet on the market only in ebay!
Graphite grey come pleaseee !!
fotis, 13 Aug 2009does anyone know what happened to e55? thanksdunno, not my business
Anonymous, 13 Aug 2009116 mm is bad lengh for put e52 in pocketUnless you are a primordial dwarf, maybe you should think about getting some normal size pockets on your trousers.
If Call Volume is like the E51, it is too low for use in an automobile, much less a noisy airport. I tried two different E51's, and both had the same problem. If the E52 has the same audio amp, I would pass.
It appears that the UK is only getting one colour for the E52 - metal grey (or silver as described by Nokia Care). This is info from Nokia store in Regent Street, London. So no "golden" option and more importantly no "Graphite Grey" (black). How can Nokia not release this business phone in black? No matter how good this phone is - i will not buy it in a wishy washy grey - it needs to be black.
For those of you interested in the E55 as an option - the Nokia store have just taken delivery of there first phones - available in Black or White.

RBa, 13 Aug 2009Nice phone and a nice review from the GSMArena team. However, what I'm worried about is that t... moreI have the same query about in-call volume, how loud is it coz streets in mumbai are very noisy and u cant hear the other person. Actually the reviews are turning me off. Though spec sheet is full of features but each feature is not upto the mark. My n82 does everything that e52 can do except for poor battery life.
