About voice google search: vlingo is much more than that.
If you say "text john what's up?"
it will send the message to number of john in your contacts writing "what's up?"
If you say "email jack subject meeting message when will you come to the meeting?"
It will mail to jack's email id with the subject "meeting" and message "when will you come for the meeting?"
If you say "search angry birds". It will launch web and show search results for "angry birds".
If you say "open music player", it will open the music player.

First of all, I hate the terrible ... morewow, superb analysis:)now that i have got to hear sooo many good things about symbian from a tech genius like u,i should not regret to have chosen symbian over android:)it would be nice if i can have similar applications like google voice search, application installer and that music info thing.
shweta67, 30 Nov 2011wow,i really appreciate this joiku thing in this phone.yes i have data plan on e6.does it use ... morethere are many rasons why I chose symbian but not android.
First of all, I hate the terrible ui of android. If you open menu, there are just apps, apps and apps. No systematic folder view. Many of my classmate have android devices. Sometimes we need calculator and if we don't have, it is in the phone. But I see that they take their phone out and keep searching from left to right all over the menu to find where the calculator is.
Second: most of the android phones come with class 12 gprs and edge. That means browsing speed on 2g is going to be slower than my old 3110 classic.
Third: people say nokia is befooling us by giving fixed focus cameras. Well, it is not fixed focus. It's EDoF (extended distance of focus). That means everything beyond 50 cm is in focus unlike auto-focus cameras where you can focus on only one thing. I agree that these are not good for capturing things which are too close, but I don't need to capture anything so close. And with belle's new photo processing abilities, this area is now beyond 35 cm. And most important for me, these EDoF camera perfom far better than autofocus in hd video recording.
Fourth: people say that nokia is giving us slow processor and less ram. But what's the point in giving extra? Did you ever feel that your e6 is slow. At least I never felt it. Symbian doesn't need as much processor power as android. Android works on virtual machine and needs more cpu power. That means less battery life and less phone life time also. If you look at n9, it has 1 ghz processor and 1 gb ram. Because meego needs it.
Fifth: people say that there is a lack of apps for symbian. They forget that "lack of apps on nokia store" and lack of "apps for symbian" is different. I agree that There is a lack of apps in nokia store but that doesn't mean there is a lack of app for symbian. You just need some sites for it. Like I suggested you nokiavnn.com. If you scroll over all the pages, you will find out how many apps and games there are.
These are some reasons I preferred symbian over android.

There were some really cool and great features though which i dont see in this phone like there was an option in radio which would tell u everything about the song and would even give u the link on youtube of that particular song...there was voice google search,u dont have to type but say verbally and it will open up the results for u.application launcher which will directly install applications on ur device and some other great features like this.can we have similar applications on this device ?

It just needs to connect to internet to create wlan network. For that, you have a data plan. And if you don't have a data plan then your balance will surely be dedected for connecting to internet.

Battery threshold lets you set when joikuspot access point should be closed. Like if you set it to 50%, the wlan access point will be automatically closed when battery goes below 50%.

do we need to change anything in the joiku settings,i mean there is one option called battery threshold which is set to 0 by default.should i change it or keep it as it is?after the joki connects,it displays joiku premium.will it deduct the balance or what?i just played around with its settings, should i keep it to none if i dont want to set a shared key for it because in other two options it asks for shared key in e71?

Keeping joikuspot open creates no problem. I think it will be more annoying to enter key in your e71.
Encryption key type is again something too hard to explain in simple words.
Encyption key length lets you decide the length of the key. In 64 bit, you can use 5 charactes and in 128 bit, 13.
yujinkun, 30 Nov 2011well.. its seems your a doctor of E6 huh?;)i agree, rajesh seems to know every bit about this mobile.it would be better to say he is an inventor of this phone:)jokes apart,we all must be very very thankful to him as he takes the pain to answer each and every question over here, not only that but even tries to solve our problems to the best of his capablities.lets wish him goodluck for his result though he does not need any luck to succeed as he already seems very intelligent and will surely excel in his result.

Is it preferable to set the key in joiku or keep it open?i checked its settings and it only shows two open hex or acsii.there is one more option related to some encryption key length 64 bit and 124 bit, what should i choose..by default its 64.
No,i dont want to know the reasons as am sure they will go off my head anyway:) i was just wondering if there is any other fast and better browser for e6 or r there any settings by which opera mobile can become a bit faster?
