if this phone proves reliable like my E71, I want one, but i will probably wait for three months before I decide, that's the wisest thing to do when considering buying a Nokia phone these days
I'm from Norway, and just got my FULL FOCUS(!) E6 yesterday. Works marvellously! ;-)
Yesterday afternoon i see that on my big brother hand.he working in a filling station. NW i buy it frm her by $40.tq
the team nokia is now always making the wrong moves as this E class set again having the fixed focus Camera are they in there scenes what are they doing this quater u people only get a little amount of loss first time after 1994 but u people are still not in a mood to recover it soon i think that will make a real diff in this phone as we use to have the photos of papers in my cell phone all the time and mail them to my ID online but now fixed Focus
Dr.32teeth.com, 16 Jun 2011can i go head and buy this device. seems to be good on paper. any comments. price rated is jus... morehey bro agian nokia trying to make some space in the market....
actually this phone will again lack features provided by other android phones readily available at a price well below 310 euros.....
also typically the same 600mhz laggy processor
may god ( microsoft ) help nokia .......
cool_hot70, 18 Jun 2011no use of 8MP camera, bcoz it is of fixed focus & touch screen at least should be 2.8 inch... moreGo take a look at photo and video samples from the other nokia full focus devices. This is not primarily a touch screen device. Infact the touch screen is just a complementary feature and to ensure compatibility with traditional s^3 applications. if you want a bigger screen get something else. This is traditional eseries design
brynn, 17 Jun 2011How the hell do you know have you got one ,sounds like your operater causing trouble not E6.I had two E6 and tried exchange service several times with both of them. No it's not operator, because my Samsung Galaxy S II and iPhone 4 are working well. I have several phones to play :)
no use of 8MP camera, bcoz it is of fixed focus & touch screen at least should be 2.8 inch for big fingers.
Hav anyone faced any technical prblm wit E6.I'm planning to buy one.Any advice?????????
a.d., 17 Jun 2011n8 or e6?? n8 has a way better camera and flash and a bigger screen. e6 has a qwerty keyboard ... moreDunno, maybe you might want to try motorola' milestone3. Really loved the keypad design but cant say for other aspect of the phone.
Dr.joydeep roy, 17 Jun 2011Just bought one today. Screen nt impressive. Quite clumsy to operate.Clumsy to operate? Compared to what, a computer with keyboard and mouse?
does any one know what the difference is between the us version and the European version?
Nokia to bring out many more smartfones up to 40 but Elop has tricks up his sleaves..:-))

I'm a former user of Nokia E71. I really loved that phone. I tried to upgrade to E72. Actually, I bought it the day it was releasead and it was a huge dissapointment - both because of build quality and functionality. I went back to E71. Than I used HTC Desire, HTC Desire HD and now I'm a very happy user of Galaxy S2. When the E6 was released I got quote exited - ready to go back to qwerty keyboard and the touch screen as a bonus. I will not do that and there are two major reasons:
1. Fixed focus camera - quite frequently I use the phone to snap (instead of scanning) documents, papers etc. E71 had the autofocus camera so I could use it for that purpose. E6 seems to be useless for that. I don't get it: what's the point of making "professional" phone which can snap family pictures only. Sorry Nokia - must do better...
2. Screen size - may be Nokia should look into BB-Torch-like form factor. After fantastic Galaxy S2 screen I'm afraid it would be very difficult to get used back to Nokia's tiny screen - no matter what the pixelage is...
One minor point - no Kindle for Symbian.
I really liked Nokia phones but I feel quite betrayed now... I'm sorry to say that but Nokia worked hard to get itself into all the problems it is in today. It is well deserved failure...
