Suhanoo, 25 May 2011First of all, no questions are stupid. If you'd know all the answers, then the word questions ... moreThanks .. :)))
I've got another question..Has this been released in the UAE or Jordan yet??
I just wanted to make one thing clear to everyone, looking at it's (E6) spec sheet, don't think that every ANNA will have 5 home screens. E6 only will have 5 home screens because the screen size is smaller in E6 & will only have 3 (maybe 4 at most) widgets on per screen. If it is even 4/screen, that makes in total 20 widgets, whereas you get 6 x 4 screens in normal ANNA (E7, N8, C7, C6-01 X7 etc) phones which gives you 24 widgets in total. So don't think that buying E6 will give you all the upper hand because of 5 home screens. And the camera is NOT going to be Full Auto Focus, but EDoF (Extended Depth of Field). Just thought you would like the info...
Anonymous, 27 May 2011if it had optical trackpad i would have bought itwho on earth (maybe only u) would want an optical trackpad when u can just scroll on the screen?!
kk, 24 May 2011bb touch9900 and noika e6 i want know what is a good? BB 9900 is another cool one. I assume it would be the perfect competiion for Nokia E6. I am myself confused as to which one to go for, but I think I will choose Nokia over BB as I am not a great BB fan to pay that extra money for it.
For me, I think the differentiator is largely the price.
The screen size is slightly bigger (hardly noticable) than conventional E phones
i went to a nokia store nd dey said dat e6 is not available in india yet:( by wen will it b available here??
so, 25 May 2011pls,pricehere in my country, Indonesia will cost you USD 445.00 w/o any contract, of course....
Can someone explain to me about the screen of this phone ; 640 x 480, 2.49 inches. Is the screen going to be bigger, wider and larger than the convetional E71, E72 & E5 screen ?
touch-n-type on a small device is cool. wud like to lay my hands on the white model
philm, 19 May 2011I wonder if its kept the spacebar torch function.??The torch function is there, alright, but not in the spacebar :( it shifted it's place into the slide screen lock. You need to slide and hold for three seconds to activate/deactivate the torch function :( In my opinion, the spacebar was better than the slide lock (I don't use slide lock as it tend to break after using it for a while - my N85 slide lock broke after eight months, I use the power key instead). So I would personally prefer the spacebar to activate/deactivate the torch.
Anonymous, 21 May 2011how could the resolution be 640/480. may i remind you that the resolution is proportional with... moreYes, it is possible. Just for your info, if you increase the dpi (dot per inch), you can have that kind of resolution in a small screen like that.
Charmaine Teo, 23 May 2011 Since Nokia says that E6 is so good, why is it that they never tell us the sound of the ringt... moreYou wrote: "I believe E series phone ringing sound is very soft & many times i could not even hear my phone ringing or feel it vibrating in public places". You write a conclusion from your belief? Tell me which E series phone did you use? I used E71, now using E72. My brother uses E70, My dad used E90, E61. My boss used E61i & uses E63 and so on... I've seen a lot of E series phones and none of the users complained about the sound quality. Yes, it isn't the loudest among the bunch, but it does it's job well. Please, I urge you not to write something just from your imagination.
Inquirer.., 24 May 2011This might be a stupid question ... but is it only a touch screen option??? Can we choose opti... moreFirst of all, no questions are stupid. If you'd know all the answers, then the word questions wouldn't be in the dictionary. Now, to your question, yes, you can work without using the touch screen most of the times. You see, there is a small thing in the middle, called cursor, you can go into directions with it. you can even select by pressing it horizontally. But maybe to cancel or go back you need to use touch as there is no soft-keys available (two keys above the call-end keys, below the display) for this phone. Don't worry, you will get used to it.
Carzeem, 25 May 2011Can someone please tell me if with the resolution of this phone one will be able to see things... moreDear Carzeem, it is impossible to answer your query before actually having the phone in hand. But as Nokia is doing for a while, we can certainly hope that the display will be clearly visible under direct sunlight. I use an N85 which has good display, but when I put it into power saving mode, I can't see a thing when I'm outside. Again, my N8 have pretty good view even when I'm outside with the power saving on. So, without using it and experiencing directly, no one can actually predict/confirm about the sunlight legitibility. But we can always hope, can't we?
