So far I love everything I see of this device, but there is going to be a serious challenge as to getting it in Canada or anywhere in North America, with popularity of Android devices especially. Carriers are going to be reluctant to adopting this device as a product offering, and it doesn't help Blackberry is also releasing around the same time it's new Bold 9930. So what I encourage those who want this device to do, is promote it to your carrier and tell them how much you like it or need etc. maybe even go to Nokia's YouTube channel and share the links of the videos so they can see it for themselves. This will also show there is still need qwerty keyboard style bar phones, since the most popular is touch screen...oh wait a minute this has a touch screen too! it can do both! So Telus, if you read this add this to your line-up as the replacement to the E72 you were carrying.
I'm currently using E72 and I'm really finding it very hard to change cos there is no much from E72 but wt this E6 specs I'll have no choice than to step up, but nokia should try and increase the Processor speed and the RAM. The screen 640 by 480 will be superb and I'm really looking forward to buying this phone
Anonymous, 21 May 2011how could the resolution be 640/480. may i remind you that the resolution is proportional with... moreDear Friend! i would like to answer your naive comment in a better way:
according to digital display the matrix theory of the graph axises are x and y dimentions the coordinates of x&y are filled with pixels, now generally the first pixel on top let corner is considered to be 1:1 so starting from this point you can fill the screen with pixels along each diamention i.e. x and y the smaller the pixel size the more the pixels fill in the screen.
you actually divided 640 by 2 and 480 also by 2 this means that the area 2.46" remains the same but the pixel size is increased which results in a non clear display while the same ratio can also be doubled to 1280 * 960 in the same screen size.
so there is no restriction on the number of pixels in a screen unless it respects the diagonal length of the screen in digital graphics. this applies to all phones regardless of the maker.
i hope it was sufficent for your information.
very nice phone ..! just the rocessor speed.. ! if 800mhz will be very very good !!
how could the resolution be 640/480. may i remind you that the resolution is proportional with the dimension of the screen. so , in this case the res should be 320/240.
Omg, that's why i love Nokia!!!...this phone looks awesome!! :D I really wanna get it!
philm, 18 May 2011We will have to wait till it comes out and get reviews on speaker loudness.I had e72 for over ... moreWould like to check with u, philm what is jelly lenses?

akshay mishra, 18 May 2011why there is no amoled screen ? I know its a good phone but amoled make it go at higher
level..To AKSHAY MISHRA:
This phone DOESN'T need an amoled screen, think about it. It has a very high resolution of 640x480, which is twice the amount of resolution, found in the Nokia E71/E72 flagships...and these two flagships have really fantastic razor sharp displays.
You probably wouldn't even see a difference in picture and text quality with an amoled screen based on how this screen is. Also, you would pay more for an amoled screen and quite a few people are bawling about the already high price slated for this high end E6 phone.
So I don't know if an amoled screen would make this phone go at a higher level than it already is at BUT I sure do know an amoled screen would make the price go at a higher level.
