3G max speed is 2.1mbps,,, that practically not applicable to mobiles,,, and e63 max speed is 384kbps no foolin' no lie,,, but as it was t'mainstream speed of 3G so ppl usin' e63 will experience much same conn spd as other faster 3G conn... But to HSUPA/HSDPA+ system,,, sorry im not skilled exlainin'....
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2010is the 3G mx speed 364kbps??? I would think max is 3.6Mbps...That is HSDPA/3.5G not 3G......HSDPA can reach up to 7.2 mbps........HSDPA = High Speed Data Packed Access .
dasparion, 22 Apr 2010if u r talkin' bout e63s 3G spd then it is 384kbps,,, if it about 3Gs max capability is 2.1mbp... moreU mean if use e63 browser u get 384kbps & using headset as modem get 2.1 mbps on lapttop r pc:))).
Anonymous, 22 Apr 2010Duh! No foolin! max speed is 384 kbps says nokoa website..kinda slow . Other handsets fast.if u r talkin' bout e63s 3G spd then it is 384kbps,,, if it about 3Gs max capability is 2.1mbps...
But practically, usin' headset to t'net r come closer to mainstream spd(384) but if modem like(static/not move much) it come nearer to max spd... Thats AFAIK
dasparion, 21 Apr 20103G mainstream speed is 384kbps,,, max 2.1Mbps but in case t'freq receiver aka antenna/handset ... moreDuh! No foolin! max speed is 384 kbps says nokoa website..kinda slow . Other handsets fast.

I used my phone without the simcard for a while, using wlan for internet with no problems.
Since I put in my simcard it wants to go on my profiders' network for internet whenever I use apps that need internet.
I'd like to use wlan for everything untill I get my fixed price per month internet deal with my profider. I already downloaded an app called smartconnect which I thought would solve the problem, but no luck.
I always change my cellphone every year. Of all the cellphones I've bought and used, the E63 is the best for business use. If you need a back up for your laptop or something smaller than your netbook, then the Nokia E63 is the answer. To all who need a cellphone for business purposes, you will not regret getting the E63. Its cheap and it has all the things you need for business purposes.
