I am not able to download external themes in my E63 whenever i try to do error msg flasu with "certificate expired"...............Please suggest
Another illegal thumbs up is that, it lets you connect and browse via Wireless Access Points free, 80% of networks are safe, 20% aren't according to Nokia's perspective. I was browsing through available LAN networks I found about 10 and I broswed for free on 2, I just went to a network and clicked start browsing - no key, no security no nothing whatsoever, although the connections are/were secured with WPA etc. It works all the time, I was downloading stuff for free! All I have to do is go to the area of that network and start my illegal mission. Happy free browsing - remember - be smart - don't get caught.

Great phone at a very competitive price. It is seriously a business phone at a cheaper price which compromise only on Camera. The processor is fast and QWERTY keyboard is nice to handle. The email setup is like 123 and you are there. WLAN connectivity is excellent.
Over all a great phone..
:-)
I'm Me, 25 Aug 2009Google the difference mate. Thanks for that "fantastic" explanation. I don't care about the price I only needed to know the difference in features. And by the way, I'm not a mate.

jane, 25 Aug 2009where can i update the firmware?Jane,
There are two ways to do that. First is yourself. You have to download NSU (Nokia SW Updater) from Nokia site. Connect the phone fully charges, profile set to General and data backed up with card removed.
Second is to go to Nokia Care and get it done thru them.
First is risky as there could be some problem in your internet connection. And you could loose your phone. Like I lost my E61i.
Thru Nokia Care is safe as they install a box between the PC and the phone. The box downloads the firmware and only if it is correct then only does it allow it to move to the phone. Moreover, In case of the box, the whole SW is changed while if you do it yourself then only the new files are written. Thus you could be favouring the virus by not deleting it.
I would recommend Nokia Care.
where can i update the firmware?

Could you tell me where did you buy your fone? I was just wondering online and the only price I find its almost 239,90€ in fnac!
I have bought the Nokia E63, in Portugal, in past thursday, for 139,9 Euros, and I have only good thinks to say.
I've surfed in internet with it, and it works very well (in 3G and Wifi).
The battery have a good lyfetime.
The built-in email client is very good.
This phone have the best qualty/price racio in business phones.
Just buy it.
I have IT background and had the same problem, in my case I found the solution, not sure if your's is the same problem. But the Nokia E63, and I guess the E71, does not recognize the access point automatically, therefore the error message: "WLAN already connected, please close and try again..." or something similar....
The solution I found was, in the mailbox, go to options/ then Email settings/ Connection Settings/ Incoming email/ Access point in use/ Then choose the network that you are near by to, by name.
This way it will retrieve email after manually telling the phone to recognize that specific network...
Then, go back, and go to Outgoing email/ Access point in use/ Set it to "Always Ask"
This way, when you are sending an email it will ask you the network, then you type PWD or just log in if not protected, it will send the email according to what you choose.
This has resolved my problem in a %100, hope you can check it out and make it work !!!!!!
