Aqeel, 16 Jul 2009Hi Guys,
After reading full proff reviews and doing some research, I finally opted to buy t... moreYou goofed it up. Even I did with my E61i in April this year. So bad that I had to take it to Nokia Care, who after trying to upgrade it for two hours, sent it to Delhi. And as my phone was under warranty, I got a new E63. After that I have been advising consumers on all forums against using Nokia SU. Instead go to Nokia Care who will upgrade ur mobile with a computer with the best and latest upgrade.
I think ur mobile is bust. And as u have mentioned it is new, u r lucky. U may get a replacement E63. Contact Nokia Care in ur country.
awesome phone. its fast. the 369MHz processor makes the phone really fast. symbion 9.2 gives it stability. it never really hangs or switches off automatically.features like wifi and pdf reader and 18hrs music playback make it one of the best phones in the given price range
The phone is a solid all round cell, the battery life is without doubt amazing..used the phone all day(music WiFi etc.) and then chatted for about 2hours at night and still had about 1/4 juice left...the built in office tools are good for someone on the move, but i would not use it as a final presentation..maybe do up drafts on the phone then transfer to a pc to make it pretty...has flash lite built in and webpages on the default browser looks good. Its a pretty speedy phone too 370mhz i beleive...it has never hanged or freezed on me...the standard 3.5mm headphone jack is a plus, i use my bose around ear head phones and it sounds great..the keyboard is just the right size though someone with larger fingers may have to use their finger tips..but its not that hard to get use to it...built in flash light is handy and is bright...camera is good too although a bit grainy..but i did not buy the phone for the camera so no downside there for me. All in all the phone is suited for someone who would like a smart phone that can do all the basics of a computer...although the phone can do alot more eg(the application JoikuSpot, turns the phone into a WiFi hotspot and programmers can install the python environment on the phone to do small scale scripts)
Bottomline...good phone, good price, good features

just bought a Nokia E63, but I don't know how to have the key pad light on , in the dark..
i just bought nokia e63 black edition last june 21.. and i can say that for me:
pros: qwerty keypads, somehow lightweight, 3.5mm jack, user friendly, affordable i just bought it for only Php 11,300 here in the philippines, dedicated keys,
cons: camera, others say that the navi key is the first to fade, always prompt certificate error while installing so secured :], lacks gps, sounds it has argh. i dont know how to describe. just listen to it when you have one, no dedicated keys for volume, power, the earphone cover is not attached to the unit itself,
i think that's it
overall, so far i am satisfied with this phone. highly recommended phone :]

After reading full proff reviews and doing some research, I finally opted to buy t... moreCan you update it again.
Is your phone being recognised by the PcSuite now?
If it is being recognised by the software updater also, you can reinstall the software and everything will be fine.
